Holidays in Seattle
A touching moment, watching my parents decorate the tree together.
Barney, seemingly unimpressed by the festivities, decided to take a nap instead.
My mom’s little decorative touches on the living room coffee table. My favorite is the matchbook (off to the left) with my Grandparent’s photo on it from their wedding back in the 1946.
So many memories and sentimental ornaments hanging on this tree.
Taken during a walk in Greenwood with Barney – so festive and fun.

Such a cheerful blue color. While walking in Greenwood and Phinney Ridge, it seemed to be everywhere I looked.

Barney, sacked out, but waiting patiently for my Dad and I to finish up taking photos. Such a good puppers.
I’ve so enjoyed spending quality time with my friends and family, and taking some time off. It’s been incredibly relaxing and I feel ready to take on 2014! So here’s to you, my dear readers – I wish you all a very safe and happy New Year! And as always, thank you for reading. You guys truly are the best. xo
MSP Shops: Nordstrom!
One of the many reasons I love visiting Seattle, is Nordstrom is at my fingertips. I love going into the downtown store, especially during the holidays because it’s so festive and cheerful. The salespeople are friendly and helpful and there is a plethora of goodness surrounding you everywhere you turn. I grew up going to Nordstrom and to this day, it still holds a special place in my heart – almost nostalgia-like. Anyway, for those of you that don’t have an actual brick and mortar store to visit, I thought I would bring it to you, online. It’s just a small little round-up, but below are a few of my favorite things right now – most of which I already own. A mix of practical to classic to cheeky items – everything is under $300. And with all the gifting we are doing for our loved ones right now, I think it’s nice to remember to treat ourselves to something as well during this crazy shopping season, don’t you think? xo

Been sort of obsessed with these pants lately, so figured it be fun to remix them another way. As you can tell, I am also obsessed with anything burgundy or maroon. :) Nails by Akiko Hair & Nail

P.S. My Dad took these two photos (below) last year and for some reason I never ended up posting them. I came across them recently and thought it would be fun to show two more ways I’ve worn these fun leather maroon pants! Not sure why they look more red below, but I promise they are the same pants! Blame it on the lighting, I guess. :)
