This past weekend, I attended my friend Ayn-Monique’s Birthday party…(she is the one in the plaid dress). I loved what a bunch of my friends were wearing, so I decided to document it. Each girl definitely has her own style and I think it’s safe to say it shines through in each photo. What I love the most is, in each outfit, there are styles and trends that I want to incorporate into my own wardrobe: peter pan collars, patterns and plaids, cut off shorts, and of course, stripes! Thanks ladies, for being my style muses for the day!

Last weekend I headed up to Sag Harbor with some close friends to get away from the city for a bit and relax. Having time to barbecue yummy burgers, wander on the beach, and stroll through the quaint town was just what the doctor ordered. I came back to Manhattan feeling refreshed and inspired. I recently posted about much I love liebemarlene and her neat online vintage store, but I am also loving her personal style. While I was browsing through wardrobe_remix on flickr I came across her profile and immediately fell in love. I love the backgrounds that she uses for her photographs…here are a few of my favorite outfits. Isn’t her Madeline hat the greatest?
