I flew back to New York on a red eye this past Monday morning after being in Utah and Seattle for two weeks, and have definitely been a little jet lagged the past few days. I meant for this post to go up when I got back but had a few things come up, which is why it’s a late, so I’m sorry about that. But, lucky for you guys, that means you get two new posts today!

What To Pack: Camping and Hiking in Bryce Canyon!

Happy Monday! I’m officially in Utah with my parents and so excited to be here! I flew in this morning to meet them, then had lunch with family friends before driving out to Bryce Canyon where we will be for the next week or so. We plan to set up our base camp there, explore the surrounding area as well as spend some time in Zion National Park. The hikes look incredible!

Because I always love reading other people’s packing posts, (especially when panicking the night before a trip and have no idea what I am bringing) I thought I would create one for this trip. I wanted to pack on the lighter side since our activities are mainly going to be hiking, swimming, sitting around the campfire and checking out the nearby towns, so I stuck with my favorite basics and pieces that would pair well together.

Nashville for the weekend!

I am spending the next few days in Nashville for my friend Emily’s Birthday and to see two of my close friends who recently moved here from New Orleans. I’ve only been here once before and that was for my Birthday a couple of years ago, but am planning on doing a travel post about my trip now that the city is becoming more familiar. I’ll share what I packed, where I went and my favorite spots to visit so keep an eye out!

72 Hours At The Sundance Film Festival with Visit Seattle

At the end of January, I had the privilege of attending the Sundance Film Festival with my friends at Visit Seattle. I of course jumped at the chance, seeing that my hometown is Seattle and that they would be representing in Park City, I was thrilled to join!It was a really quick trip, roughly 72 hours, but it was a wonderful experience. I had never been to Park City, and couldn’t wait to see the sights, watch some great movies and meet new people, all of which I did!

72 Hours In Franciacorta, Italy

I hadn’t been back to Italy since 2012 and wasn’t quite sure when I would be so when I was invited on a press trip to Franciacorta I was over the moon. The region, which is located right next to the very beautiful Lago d’Iseo (George Clooney first tried to buy there before heading to Lake Como!) and an hour from Milan, is filled with picturesque vineyards, unique foliage and rolling hills.
