I’d like to first start out by dedicating this post to my very best friend who I met when I was 7-years-old. As little girls we both loved watermelon Bubble Yum – the chewing gum pieces were obviously good, but the kind from the “tape” dispenser was the real jackpot. Actually we loved watermelon-flavored anything – Lip Smackers, Jolly Ranchers, you name it, we loved it. So when Paige Denim sent me these brighter than bright pink highlighter shorts, I was over the moon. The color immediately reminded me of my youth, faux watermelon flavor, and everything that made me happy at age 8. xo
