My dear readers, this week, I’d like you to join me in spreading the word about National Women’s Business Week, which runs through this Friday, October 22nd. And, when I recently learned that The (lovely) Tory Burch Foundation is also a part of this movement, I knew I had to post about it.

The foundation, that was launched in 2009, is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that provides economic opportunity to women and their families in the United States, which helps women access financial tools to improve their lives. As a woman who works for herself and can identify with the trials and tribulations that comes with balancing the financial aspect of being your own boss, I wanted to share with you all, the wonderful things that Tory’s foundation does. Read more about it here!

To kick off the week, I decided to wear my very bold and patterned Tory Burch denim to get into the spirit of things! I love the design…it’s like the title says, zebra print crossed with crazy zigzags. I felt very daring walking around my neighborhood in them, and loved every minute of it.
