I actually wore this outfit on Monday, which was actually pretty chilly and overcast, but that didn’t sway me from donning my new(ish) white dress that I got at the lovely Vintage Closet, while at home in Seattle. I don’t really have any qualms about wearing white after Labor Day, as you can see. When I bought this dress, the length was just a tad too long, so I hemmed it up a bit and changed out the fabric belt that came with it.
For this particular outfit, I started with the tights and worked my way up. I was feeling sort of glizty glam yesterday morning, so I draped on the double necklaces and threw my (faux) fur around my neck. I still needed a jacket but didn’t want to go with wool, so I opted for my retro brown leather jacket. I think the brown, tan and maroon accents help winterize the white on white action of the dress and tights. Overall, I think it creates a nice juxtaposition. Thoughts?
