I’m a Proud New Mama.
I finally did it. Yesterday, with some help from my wonderful parents, I purchased my very own Nikon SLR D3000. I know there are many people out there that are devoted Canon lovers, and the same goes for Nikon, but I did my research and decided to get the camera that worked best for me.
It all started when I attended a very cool Nikon/Blogger event back in early May. We got to spend the whole day playing with all sorts of Nikon cameras and I immediately fell in love with the D3000. The camera did not leave my mind for the next two months until finally I was lucky enough to purchase my very own.
As for the lovely event, we spent most of our time on the High Line, then ended our day with cocktails and appetizers at top of The Gramercy Hotel. Fancy!

As for my camera, I am still learning how to use all the features and functions, but I did take a few photos of Barnaby, and of my new Birthday present, which I will post a little later today, so stay tuned!
