In response to my three date outfits, posted on SMITTEN, my friend Jenn asked if I could come up with some possible outfits to wear on a more activity-oriented outing, such as bowling, hiking or a football game. So, I began poking around Forever 21, Abercrombie & Fitch, Old Navy, J. Crew and the Gap and came up with the outfits below. Tell me, would you wear any of these three on a date? I would love to know! SPxx
Santoki Vintage: I want, I want, I want!
Vintage Black Leather HIGH WAIST Mini Skirt Belt Straps, $59
Vintage 1980s MATTE Sequins Mini Dress, $85
Vintage Pink Romper, $34
I first read about Santoki Vintage on Joanna’s blog, A Cup of Jo. I love all the unique pieces they offer. Here are a few items that caught my eye. I am loving the leather skirt. So edgy and flirty…perfect for a night out dancing with the girls. I am also eyeing this sequin dress as a possible New Years Eve option. What do you think? And, the third item is just so bright and fun. Perfect for spring, but wearable in winter if paired with gray tights and knee-high flat boots.
Would you wear any of these pieces? I would love to know! SPxx
Even more nerd chic on Glamour.com!
While perusing the fashion blogosphere, I came across this cool post on Glamour.com, which explains how exactly one can pull off NERD CHIC, which I posted about a few weeks ago. I am so excited because as much as I love the look and have been showing photos of hip girls wearing said glasses, I myself was unsure as to which shape I could pull off. To learn the perfect shape for your face, check out the tips and slide show here!

Currently coveting…
A friend of mine recently introduced me to an awesome site called NOTCOUTURE.com. After skimming it for a mere thirty seconds, I came across this gorgeous dress. I love the combination of textures and materials. The blue linen, navy satin and ivory silk create the perfect transitional piece. With the right jacket and accessories, you could wear this little number throughout the seasons! Buy it here.

I love reader mail!
We all know that I love me some grey t-shirts and tanks. So, when I read this lovely email, all about grey, I was positively delighted!! What a talented and creative person she is! Thanks so much hp! Check out her layout below.
dear stylepill,
new york has been cold and grey if not black by the time i leave work these days. not feeling my happiest i decided to turn all this grey-ness into some late night inspiration. yes, i’m talking about online shopping and great deals too – my guilty pleasure. i love american apparel and was pleased to receive the online shopping code (FF08-CM200) for 15% off yesterday afternoon, so i made use of it! for some reason the 15% off made every (grey) purchase justified. then i was paruzing around oldnavy.com and scored two skirts (chocolate & black) for $4.99 each! i can’t wait for my packages to arrive!
