I picked up this sweet little sweater at Zara for a sweet little price (read massively on sale), and love how the gold stitching reminds me of (and parallels) the crisscrossing of the gold chain on my wedges. Sometimes outfits work out just right and feel easy breezy, and when they do, they are that much more fun to enjoy, don’t you think? xoxo

My Outfits: Quick Change

Earlier in the night…look #1: Drinks and dinner at Diablo Royale

Later that night…look #2: Karaoke!

Can you believe it’s almost October? Did everyone enjoy their last weekend September weekend? I had quite a busy one myself, which consisted of sangria and karaoke on Friday, drinks and dancing on Saturday, and a low-key dinner with one of my best friends last night. But, back to Friday. I hung out with a good friend at a restaurant in the West Village where we sipped sangria and munched on chips and salsa, and yummy cheesy corn on the cob. After we parted ways, I stopped by my apartment to do a quick change from my dress to jeans before I headed over to belt out a few songs at a karaoke bar near Union Square. I kept most the pieces the same and just switched out my sundress for a tank and jeans. Easy peasy!

New Jumper!

Here is another great find that I picked up from Buffalo Exchange. This was one of their new pieces and it has quickly become a new favorite of mine. It is super soft and comfy and I love the bright colors against the muted gray.

Currently Coveting: Moustache Necklace

Would you wear this around your neck? I think I would! I am not sure how it would be to kiss a man who had an actaul moustache (love that word) like this, but for neck decoration purposes, this Inspector Closeau Necklace is adorable and funky. My Style: Bright ‘n Bold

Inspired by the many sites out there that showcase people’s personal style, such as Weardrobe and Wardrobe_remix on Flickr, I decided it was high time I began photographing my own personal style. So, starting today, that is what I am going to do…whenever I wear something that I love, up goes a photograph, or a collage. I will list each item that I am wearing and link to websites if the item is still available.

Launching today: Love 21

I am super excited about this new line that Forever 21 launched today. Described as their first contemporary line, Love 21 is sophisticated style at an amazing price. Although I was just there last night, purchasing some new summery items (photos tk soon!) I may have to pop online and shop around after my lunch with Jessica!

Currently Coveting: The Sash from American Apparel

I love how AA always shows a million different ways to wear their items. It is so creative and inspiring…it really helps me look at some of the sort of basic and simple items in my closet in a different and more interesting way. What do you think about this sash? And, isn’t this girl’s outfit so cute? I think I definitely need to add this awesome acessory to my wardrobe. Lucky for me there is one around the corner from my apartment.
