Lately I have been getting requests on how to style OTK boots, which I would like to create a whole other post about, but thought in the meantime I would dig up a few outfits from last year that I photographed wearing these OTK Schutz boots. I’ve acquired a few more pairs over the past year and was thinking it could be fun to do some new outfit remixes sharing all the different ways you can wear over-the-knee boots. Lately I’ve been into wearing simple pieces like jeans and button-downs and adding fun accessories to pack a bit of punch. With this outfit I opted for some pattern play (stripes x leopard) and finally got to break out my new strappy lace-up heels from Schutz.
So in yesterday’s post, I styled these same black overalls but with this sheer floral blouse, which gave the look more of a feminine feel. But for the remix, I wanted to create an outfit that gave off more of a girly-tomboy vibe. Read more

I moved to New York on September 11, 2004, and my parents flew back out a few months later for Christmas to celebrate the holiday with me in the city. I must not have had a proper winter coat at the time, because for my present, my Mom and Dad bought me a beautiful camel colored overcoat. It ended up being a bit too big so we exchanged at Bloomingdales and I ended up walking out with the gorgeous cream coat you see in these photos. It has been and continues to be my favorite coat, not only because I love the brand Mackage (can we talk about the leather detailing and tailoring?!) but also that it carries 11 and 1/2 years of memories with it and of course, because it was a generous gift from my amazing parents.

Just a quick note to say hello! This week has been a whirlwind of shows, presentations, events and dinners, which has been so fun, but now that things are winding down, I am really looking forward to some quiet time to catch up on work, favorite TV shows (I am SO behind on The Bachelor!) and quality time with Casey and Susan.
