Yesterday was a great day. I spent the afternoon wandering around the West Village with my lovely friend, Laney, and caught up on each other’s lives, as we pondered various potted plants, sipped Grey Dog iced coffee, and treated ourselves to yummy gelato (me at PopBar, she at Grom).

It was, once again, quite hot outside, but I managed to wear this lightweight peach cardigan that I picked up for cool $12 (on sale!) at Madewell over the weekend. I am officially in love with it and can’t wait to layer it, belt it and remix the heck out of it.

On another note, I would like to take a minute and showcase the silver necklace I’m wearing in these photos. The lovely Sarah of Sa Sa sent me this cute Horseshoe Pendant. I used to be a girl who only wore silver, but I will admit, in the past few years, I’ve slowly migrated over to wearing just gold accessories. Yet something changed when I pulled this dainty little chain link necklace from it’s cloth bag—very cute packaging by the way— and I found myself warming up to silver once again.
