Last week, I wrote that I was off to spend a couple days in Nantucket on a editor’s press trip. Well, it was absolutely amazing and I am so excited to share with you all the fun things we did! Each day was full of fun and interesting activities. We learned about and tested out great products and everyone was super fun and friendly. My friend Kelli and I arrived Monday in the early evening, welcomed by a yummy taste testing session for Starbuck’s icecream floats. YUM! Then it was time for a delicious dinner and free time in the hot tub.
Tuesday we took a brisk shoreline walk with New Balance, learned all about Aravon’s new products, competed in a grape crushing contest and toured the Cisco Brewery! I was then taken back to the house to experience a Dr. Hauschka’s facial and spa treatment, which was beyond amazing, and before I knew it it was time for our sunset sail with Discover Boating and Sperry. We finished off the night with a tasty lobster dinner at the The Nantucket Lobster Trap and then headed back to the house to sip on some Chateau Ste. Michelle wine while relaxing in the hot tub.
Wednesday, we got up bright and early and took some sweet rollerblades out for a spin, then we test drove some of Ford Taurus’ newest cars, before heading into town for lunch. I stopped off and purchased myself a cute pair of Vineyard Vines flip flops and before we knew it, it was time to hop on the ferry back to Hyannis and start our trek back to the city. Whew! All in all, it was a great few days! And here’s a huge thank you to the peeps from Cercone Brown—Noelle, Tess, Jason—for being the best hosts ever! SPxx
