A Day At The Beach
This photo was not posed – he walked over to me, positioned his body over my legs while I was sitting down, and then just stayed put. He is so funny.
Just some of my favorite photos taken while at the beach in Santa Barbara. xo
P.S. My very good friend Heather just started an adorable new blog! She is super talented, creative and hilarious. Check it here! My personal faves are the Chicken Pot Pie post and this Thrifty Gal post.
Vested
Versace Sunglasses (gifted via Sunglass Hut) Zara Vest and Blouse / Levi Curve ID Jeans (gifted) / Ellen Tracy Shoes (bought with a Loehmann’s giftcard) / Coach Watch (gifted) / Kenneth Jay Lane Bib Necklace ( gifted via Thomas Laine)
Found this gem of a vest at the Zara in Oxford Circle, and am slightly obsessed with it. I can’t wait to layer it over my wool black overcoat with leather sleeves for extra warmth, or in warmer weather, slip it on under a lightweight trench for fun. I have to admit, I was tempted to buy the actual coat here, but decided the vest version was a bit more versatile.
On a different note, I’m feeling very bittersweet today, seeing that I am flying back to New York and leaving my very best friend behind for another chunk of time. I constantly seem to be split between different coasts and continents, whether it’s flying home to Seattle or heading overseas. Guess I should become tri-coastal. Does that even makes sense?! Ha. Either way, I hope you are all having a lovely Wednesday! xo
Just For Fun
RayBan Sunglasses / Banana Republic Sleeveless Trench (gift) / B.B. Dakota Dress / J.Crew Clutch / Nine West Espadrilles (gift) / H&M Necklace / Coach Watch (gift) / Thrifted Belt
Wore this outfit for this article shown in Glamour.com. Thought it would be fun to share a few more photos from this little shoot I did with my Dad while back in Seattle earlier this summer. xoxo
Hanging At The Hollywood Roosevelt
RayBan Wayfarers / H&M Blouse, Bangle and Wedges / American Apparel Bandeau / F21 Shorts / Coach Boyfriend Bangle (gift) / Foley + Corinna Mid City Tote (gift) / Essie nails in “Meet Me At Sunset”

More to come on why I am in LA, but right now I just want to share that I am enjoying the west coast and am looking forward to a very fun event, which is taking place today! However, this is what I wore last night to drinks and dinner at the Hollywood Roosevelt. Amazing place, folks. I was a huge fan and definitely recommend you check it out the next time you are in LA! xoxo
Reader Question…
Plain and simple: I love TOMS. Which is why I recently bought a second pair in this lovely gray color after wearing my first pair to shreds. Only problem is, they don’t fit correctly. They are the exact same size as my other ones, but for some reason they are super tight on my toes, which quickly becomes very painful. I was only able to wear them once or twice (they are in essentially brand new) before giving up and deciding to see if any of you lovelies might be interested in them. They are a 7 but I would say, fit like a 6 1/2. If so, shoot me an email at mystylepill@gmail.com for more details! xoxo
All About Barney
Birthday Fun
Ali Ro Dress (on loan) / J.Crew Necklace / Charlotte Russe Bracelets / Steve Madden “Caryssa” Heels
Et, voila! The Birthday dress. I kept it simple with classic accessories and let the dress do the rest.
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend, I know I did! It started with a surprise treat from “A” on Saturday morning, then a nice long nap and some leisure time before I started getting ready for the big evening. “A” and I went to dinner at Edi & the Wolf, which was excellent. But right before dinner, as I was sitting outside waiting to meet “A” Amanda (blogger of A to B) calls out my name and comes over to say hi. The best part? She was wearing the My Style Pill dress! I snapped a photo because she looked so cute. (See photos of her, and dinner, after the jump.)
Afterward, we headed over to 10 Degrees to celebrate with friends. I even wore a Birthday tiara! It was all and all, one of the best Birthdays ever and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you to everyone who was involved, including Ali Ro, and especially “A”! xoxo
