You guys know that I love doing outfit remixes so it was a lot of fun creating these three looks around one pair of pants. I bought them from Zara years ago and they have still remained one of my favorite pairs that I own. Unfortunately, they are no longer available but here are two options that are very similar (here and here). I just love how three looks can be so different, yet still have so many similarities. For instance, I used the same hat in all three outfits and in two out of the three looks, I am wearing the same bag, earrings and sunglasses! Through these types of posts, I hope to show you how to create interesting outfits and remind you guys to shop your closet and remix your favorite pieces.

I first picked out this sweater from Calypso a couple of years ago and it still remains one of my favorite turtleneck sweaters I own. So I thought it would be fun to do a fun throwback remix, which shows how I styled one piece throughout the years during different months. It’s remix time again everyone! So remember when I first styled this “confetti” sweater last week? I first paired it over a gray turtleneck sweater with OTK boots, but this time I switched it up a bit and slipped on my cognac leather pants with suede booties and my beloved Celine bag.

I haven’t done an outfit remix in a while, and since this is my new favorite skirt, I thought it would be the perfect piece to use for the occasion. I kept the accessories the same (minus the necklace in the second look) and simply swapped out the tops to create three different looks!

Today’s Paper Doll remix series, which is part of a project I am creating with the Creative Council by UGG Australia, is all about my take on festival style at Hangout Fest, which is a super fun outdoor music venue right on the beach in Mobile, Alabama. I went a couple weekends ago with a group of friends and had an absolute blast. For my two looks, I based them around these Naima heels and straw tote and aimed to keep the two outfits casual and fairly beachy. I think heels with shorts instantly takes an outfit up a notch and makes it slightly dressier, but you could just as easily wear a cute pair of flat sandals for a more laid back feel.
