Recently, I teamed up with a new brand called BeClassic, which is an awesome new eco-luxe t-shirt label that produces really quality tees that are super soft, come in classic cuts and colors and are made of Modal, which is a sustainable fabric source. I picked this pretty navy blue v-neck and styled it to stroll around my neighborhood. I met up with Greta from Greta Guide and Pamela from Market Publique and we popped into Sweet Revenge, a local cafe known for their cupcakes, to snap a couple of fun shots for BeClassic’s lookbook! The pictures are going to go into an online editorial on their site and they are going to feature all the bloggers involved at the launch party they are hosting on the 25th. Very excited!

P.S. Happy Birthday to my lovely girl, Lynn! Wish I could be there with you tonight! xoxo

Remix: Stripes and Acid Wash

Picture 3

And, I give you…ensemble #1. This was a fun look to style…so 80s. LOVING IT. Plus, there is something I love about the contrast between the dark, bold-striped top and the sort-of-frenetic, blown-out color of the acid wash jeans. It feels unexpected and fresh. I would wear this to a fun downtown dinner spot or even to a late brunch with friends.

Hat: Urban Outfitters

Sunglasses: F21

Necklace: ?

Top: Vintage, from the Market Publique house store

Jeans: Mandee’s

Shoes: Vintage, Market Publique

Check back tomorrowat 9AM  to see Look #2!

Remix: Personal Challenge

striped-acidwash-closeup-pola

I have taken on a personal challenge to try and pair these two items—a vintage, leather woven top on loan from Pamela, and acid wash jeans, on loan from Jessica (see how she wore them on her blog!)—together as well as integrate them into outfits I create out of items I already own in my closet. This means by the time the work week is over, which is in two days, there will be a total of not one outfit, not two, but three outfits using at least one of the items shown above.

So, my dearest readers, stay tuned and check back again today at NOON to see the very first ensemble! Who’s excited?! Clearly, I am.

Blog Love: Market Publique

Pamela was sweet enough to repost the layout that I created of her outfit, on her blog on Market Publique. She even made a little poll to vote on whether or not you like what she’s wearing. Go here to vote!

What She Wore: Pamela from Market Publique

Pamela-full length

Pamela-accesories

A couple Fridays ago, I had lunch with the lovely Pamela of Market Publique. I loved her outfit so much that I just had to photograph it. Aren’t her Chloe shoes to die for?!

P.S. Stay tuned for photographs from Sunday’s Weardrobe Meet ‘n Greet in Central Park!

My Outfit: Vintage Treasures

Beacon's skirt

Last week I spent a lovely Friday running around Brooklyn with Jessica of What I Wore, and then later on with Pamela of Market Publique, and managed to hit up both Beacon’s Closet locations. The first one in Park Slope, I got this cute skirt for $15! Afterwards, I headed to Williamsburg and got a really cute black dress from the Beacon’s there, so stay tuned for photos to come. And finally, before I was about to head back to the city, the lovely Pamela gave me these amazing shoes, which are vintage 1960’s wedge/clogs! I am completely in love.

P.S. Also stay tuned for the remixed version of this skirt…fun photos to come!

My Outfit: Meetings and Such

flowered romper layout

I am so happy it’s Friday! Plus, I am loving my new floral romper, which I just picked up at—where else—Forever 21! It is lightweight and comfy and reminds me of the flowered babydoll dresses that i used to wear in 8th grade. Looks like the 90s are making a comback! This morning I am heading to Fort Greene to have coffee and bagels with Jessica of the awesome blog, What I Wore, then scooting off to Williamsburg to have lunch and chat with Pamela of Market Publique. I am very excited about today’s meetings…both of these ladies are absolutely lovely! What are you all up to today? Anything fun going on this weekend? My dear friend Liz is having her Birthday party on Saturday and I can’t wait to celebrate with her!

Happy weekend, everyone!
