This past weekend, my best friend from college came to visit. We spent our time strolling around outside, even though it was freezing out, because it was still a beautiful and sunny day. But after a while, the chilly temperatures got to be a bit much so we retreated inside to warm places, which included brunch at my favorite diner, manicures at my neighborhood nail salon and eventually my couch, where we ate pizza and watched TV.
