This is truly an honor! I’m a big fan of The Huffington Post, so to be written up by them is a big deal to me. Just made my whole day. :) Check out the article here, and feel free to vote for me if you like what you see! Thank you! xoxo
Recap: IFB Dress Up Soiree
Clockwise: Me and Jessica, of What I Wore, me and Pamela of Market Publique, me and Carolyn of The Daily Obsession, The Glamourai and her fab roommate, Jennine of Independent Fashion Bloggers, and the panelists (last two photos).
As promised, photos from last night’s event! The panel was really interesting and everyone had great stuff to say. I had to slip out after the first group of girls spoke and head to my friend’s Birthday party, but managed to snag a few shots with the lovely ladies above!
Once I said my goodbyes, I headed over to Max Fish in the LES to meet up with friends. And, while I was waiting at the bar for a drink, I started chatting with these two girls. I first noticed the girl on the right because of her cool white ripped jeans and then realized that her friend was wearing the most adorable jumper. They were so friendly and just looked effortlessly cool, that I just had to take photos of them! Thanks, girls!
Sweet Soiree
Last night I attended this awesome event where Susie Bubble of Style Bubble, along with a few friends of mine who were also panelists, such as Jessica Schroeder of What I Wore, and Carolyn Hsu of The Daily Obsession, spoke on the future of fashion media. So exciting! Congrats girlies! Check back around 12PM as I should have more photos from the event up by then. See you in a few hours!
The Talented Mr. Newton

JUMP!
Happy Monday! Sorry I was absent on Friday. My charger died and since I was in a little town in Cape Cod and wasn’t quite sure where to go to find a replacement charger, I didn’t have much choice but to close my computer and head outside! But, I missed you all and by the time I was able to charge my computer again, I felt like I had been out of touch forever! One little discovery I came across once I was able to turn my computer back on, was that the photos from the first day of the conference—that the talented Eddie Newton took. They are finally up! Plus all the amazing photos of the other girls from the conference. Eeeeee! Love them! Eddie’s brand new website is up as well where you can view all the photos, so check it out here! A huge thanks to Eddie and again to Jessica, Suz and Rich for such an amazing weekend. xoxo
Recap: Weardrobe Conference, Day 3
Day three of the awesome Weardrobe conference! The day started off with a yummy brunch at Lure in Soho…
We got our very own personalized menu. Thanks Lure!
Group shot. The fantastic street photographer behind Altamira, is sitting on the end! After brunch, he photographed all of us on the street in Soho. We held up traffic!!!
Me and Audrey of Homerunballerina getting some direction on our photoshoot.
Giggly girls! Photo via This Time Tomorrow
Next up…we teamed up in twos and began styling our very own mannequins at Eryn Brinie. I partnered with Kyla of Blue Collar Catwalk. We had a blast!
Our final product. Love. It will be in the window of the store on Broadway in Soho! Woo hoo!
Ta dah!
One of the lovely ladies of The Owls Are Not What They Seem, striking a pose.
Snapping Greta’s Guide’s daily outfit.
Lunessa was another lovely sponsor and was kind enough to give us these lovely toe rings, shown below. What better way than to add some sparkle to your toes!
Last stop of the day, we had an awesome workshop with RueLaLa and Tumblr! I must admit but the end of day three, I was happy but pretty tired, so I decided to head home, relax and catch up on some sleep so that I was geared up for the last and final day of the conference. So sad to see it come to an end!

Recap: Weardrobe Conference, Day 2-Part 2
How cool is her outfit. She totally inspired me with how she pulled down the sleeves of her dress around her waist and tied them up. Her simple explanation was, “sometimes you just want to wear it as a skirt, you know?” Totally!
On our way back to the city to eat at Fat Hippo in the LES. From left to right: Keiko Lynn, Homerunballerina, Style Magnet, The Fashion Void That Is DC
Yummy, yummy food at The Fat Hippo. We all got some time to chat with the wonderful women of the Gilt Groupe, which if you haven’t joined, you definitely need to. You have to be invited, but I am hoping to get something set up on my site so that you can sign up through me. In the meantime, if you are interested, EMAIL ME at stylist.stylepill@gmail.com and I’ll send you the link! Seriously my loves, the site is so cool and they send you reminders beforehand and let you know which boutiques/brands are selling so you know when to be by your computer, ready to purchase amazing products!
Cali Vintage sitting pretty. Love her saltwater sandals!
After dinner, I went home for some R&R and had a glass of wine with Audrey of Homerunballerina. Afterwards, I went and had some catch up time with my roomie at our favorite spot in Nolita so check back in a bit to see the new orange and black ruffle dress that I wore!
My Outfit: Saturday Strollin’
I knew that we had a huge day ahead of us with all the events planned for the conference, so I wanted to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. So, I opted for my favorite comfy gray tee, my Dad’s old Levi’s that I cut off, and my worn-in woven flats. Check back at 12 to read about day two of the conference!
