I saw these bright bubblegum pink-colored shorts at a recent Express preview and fell in love with them immediately. Not long after, I came across them in stores and quickly scooped up a pair of my own. I love the fit and color and feel like they can easily be dressed up or down, while still allowing you to feel chic and put together. If you can find them at a nearby Express, I highly recommend them! xo

Last week, while shopping with a client, I spied these bright blue pants at Express and felt the need to buy them on the spot. Instead, I waited a bit, and shopped around, but found nothing else that I liked better. So, needless to say I now own them in blue, and red. They are called the Columnist and I am obsessed. They are extremely comfortable and I am excited to have two pairs of bright trousers that will pair nicely with lots of options in my closet. Now I want bright blue jeans. Anyone have a brand they love that sells them? xo

Happy Tuesday! Sorry for no post yesterday…sometimes the work schedule can get the best of you and you fall a bit behind. But, I’m back, and with new photos to share!
To be honest, I didn’t put a ton of thought when I got dressed…the outfit sort of just came together pretty easily. It’s still fairly humid in New York, so I’ve found that the best way to beat the heat is to opt for loose, drapey pieces, short shorts or skirts, and a hat and sunglasses. This combination kept me cool all day, and the sun off my face.
My Outfit: Hang Loose, Hang Tough
I really like the juxtaposition of edgy/relaxed that’s happening here. Mixing lace, ripped jeans, platforms, a straw fedora and wayfarers was pretty fun to experiment with, but came together pretty effortlessly. In my mind, that is always the best kind of outfit—when it doesn’t feel forced, but still looks fun.
I am especially digging my new Agyness top from ModCloth. I ususally can’t wear cropped tops like this because of the way the style falls on me, but this one happily proved me wrong. (I also slipped it on over my striped trapeze top from Express, which was cute as well.)
My Outfit:
Hat: F21
Lace top: Agyness Top
Striped tank: Banana Republic
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Trackks, Steve Madden
P.S. Get ready for a remix roundup soon. I’m in the midst of gathering all my outfits that feature the “famous” striped Shark Bite tank, so stay tuned!
my outfit: HP panel and SATC2
Happy Wednesday! So, yesterday was quite eventful. I started the day early and headed uptown for work. Then around 1:30, I zipped down to The Millennium Hotel in Times Square to sit in on a panel about the collaboration of HP and SATC2—Vivienne Tam, among many other interesting people were interviewed—which was very cool.
As for what I wore…it was pretty warm out yesterday, and although I didn’t end up wearing the jean shirt all day, the morning was a bit cool, so it worked as the perfect cover up. As the day progressed, I shed the button down and let my breezy Express trapeze tank work it’s airy magic.
Check back in a bit to see what I wore to the actual Sex and the City 2 preview at the Paris Theater! Cute photos to come! xoxo

Here are the photos that I took from the Vogue/Express party that I went to last week. So much fun! I wore my favorite turquoise dress that I got at The Vintage Closet in Seattle last summer. Click here to see how I wore last September!
Why hello, Mr. Westwick…
