Over the course of the weekend, there were tons of photos taken and I just haven’t had a moment to sort through and edit all of them. I will post the rest of these outfit photos tomorrow, but in the meantime, here is a little sneak peak of the Jessica Simpson tuxedo jeans I received in the mail this past weekend. I wasn’t sure how they were going to fit or look on, seeing that they not only zip up the back, but have no back pockets either. But, I was pleased to find that they are extremely comfortable and I felt great in them. They are stretchy and soft, and the leather tuxedo stripe down either side of the leg is smooth and flexible. I think these are going to be put in my main rotation of denim due to their chicness and versaltility.
My Outfits: Quick Change
Earlier in the night…look #1: Drinks and dinner at Diablo Royale
Later that night…look #2: Karaoke!
Can you believe it’s almost October? Did everyone enjoy their last weekend September weekend? I had quite a busy one myself, which consisted of sangria and karaoke on Friday, drinks and dancing on Saturday, and a low-key dinner with one of my best friends last night. But, back to Friday. I hung out with a good friend at a restaurant in the West Village where we sipped sangria and munched on chips and salsa, and yummy cheesy corn on the cob. After we parted ways, I stopped by my apartment to do a quick change from my dress to jeans before I headed over to belt out a few songs at a karaoke bar near Union Square. I kept most the pieces the same and just switched out my sundress for a tank and jeans. Easy peasy!

My Outfit: Denim Dancing Queen
So, before the craziness of fashion week started, but right after I got back from Seattle, I went dancing with my friend Lex and her boyfriend. I got so caught up with FW that I forgot to post these, so sorry for the delay! But, my intention in having her snap these photos, was to show yet another fun way to wear denim. I am sure you remember these wide-legged beauties when I wore them here and then again, here, and now, here they are again—on a random night out in NYC. One reason I am sharing these photos/outfit with you guys is because I think it’s important to continually incorporate denim into your wardrobe, but to try and keep it fresh and interesting. For instance, this outfit isn’t particularly innovative or exciting, but in my opinion, what keeps you guessing, is the massive bell bottom that unassumingly pops out at you. What do you guys think of this style of denim? Be nice! :)

My Outfit: I’m Listening…
So, I love getting comments from you guys, and one in particular mentioned doing different looks with denim. Well, I thought about it and decided that I wanted to change my denim style up a bit. This look is a bit different for me, but still a fun and and interesting take on denim compared to how I styled my last “jean” look. Thoughts? (Keep it positive!) Oh, also, I meant to answer the question, the Targert jeans are, Mossimo!
