I threw this outfit together pretty quickly the other day, but it’s becoming one of my favorite looks because it feels simple yet sophisticated. To find a balance between the two can be tricky, but if you can figure out what works for you and your style, and integrate a polished yet classic feel to your outfits, then you can create the ultimate uniform.
The Reversible Caleen Coat by Kate Spade
Outfit Details:
Kate Spade Coat (gift) | Uniqlo Sweater (this one is only $84 and is available on Shopbop, which is part of their big sale that are currently having) | Artitzia “Daria” Vegan Leather Leggings (similar) | Vince Camuto Boots (gift – mine are sold out but here is another pair I have and love, and they are 50% off!) | Celine Bag
So I know I have been sharing this coat a lot on the blog and on Instagram lately but I just wanted to share these photos that I took with Lydia last month, which show you guys the two different ways this jacket can be worn, since it’s actually reversible. I wore it the furry side out on the blog yesterday, but mostly I’ve been wearing it with the leather on the outside because it does an excellent job of battling the crazy wind chill we’ve been experiencing over the last few weeks. Ok, I digress, but seriously, I love this coat. Thanks again Kate Spade! xo

Unexpected Neutrals
Outfit Details:
Karen Walker Sunglasses | Zara Jacket | ASOS Sweater (only $31!) | Aritzia Leggings | Vince Camuto Boots (gift) | Celine Bag (now available at The Real Real)
At first when I put this outfit together, I was unsure of the colors together, but after I got the photos back from Lydia I really liked the olive, tan and black together. I guess in my mind it made for an interesting ensemble of unexpected neutrals, but then again that’s the beauty of neutrals, right? They all basically go together!
Anyway, I can’t rave enough about these vegan leather leggings, which I know you guys have seen me wear before, but not only are they comfortable, they are washable (!!!) and will block the wind when it’s freezing outside. I am also loving my new Vince Camuto suede boots, which I just got last week. I love them so much because they are not only comfortable but I love the olive green color, which is a nice change from my other regular taupe or brown boots. I’m looking forward to wearing them this spring with a swingy shift dress and a wide brim felt hat. :)

Fashion Week has officially ended for me and now I am looking forward to a fairly quiet weekend ahead to catch up on sleep, do laundry and watch all my favorite TV shows. I know it’s not quite Friday, but do you guys have anything fun planned over the next few days?
P.S. Sending out a huge thank you to Flores and ARROJO for my new fall hair color! I’m in love. Bring on FALL! xo
