I met my friend Paul eight years ago while we were both working as editors at the same home decor magazine. But little did I know that he and I would become really close friends throughout the years and that he would eventually invest in, and help open a very cool restaurant in Williamsburg…Read more

Over the Weekend: Brooklyn Rooftop Party!
We spent this past Sunday on a rooftop in Brooklyn, complete with blowup pools, a DJ, a bar and taco stand, and some incredible New York City views. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but needless to say we had an absolute blast.
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and here’s to a great week. Love to you all! xo
Over the Weekend
I apologize for the lack of photos in today’s post. I had people in town on Saturday and was so busy running around showing them the city that I forgot to bring my camera with me and capture everything we did. But on Sunday, I actually remembered to pop it in my bag before heading to Pier 5 in Brooklyn to check out Smorgasburg. This particular one is located right on the waterfront with a spectacular view of the city. It was pretty hot out yesterday, so we grabbed a couple whole coconuts to stay hydrated, some schnitzel sandwiches from Schnitz (we both opted for the Bamburg) and parked ourselves in a little shady spot right off the pier.

Plus a quick recap of how I spent my Saturday…
Headed up to the High Line for a nice walk along the Hudson from Little West 12th to West 30th.
Stopped by Terroir after our walk for a refreshing glass of rose.
Met friends nearby at FC Gotham to watch the World Cup, England vs Italy game.
Grabbed a yummy dinner at Fonda in the East Village.
Saw a hilarious show by the improv group “What I Did For Love” at Upright Citizens Brigade East.
Once again, it was a great weekend! I wished I could have spent Sunday with my Dad for Father’s Day, but I look forward to August when I get to see my family again. So, in the meantime, I just want to say a huge thank you to my Dad, for being the best there is – I am one lucky girl. :)
Hope you all had a great weekend and here’s to a fantastic week!
xo
P.S. Check out a few other “Over the Weekend” posts here, here and here!
An Evening in Brooklyn
I know you saw a bit of this outfit in Monday’s post, but my friend was kind of enough to snap a few pictures of me in it when I actually had heels on, so I thought I would share. :) I swear, when buying investment pieces, it’s key that they both be comfortable and stylish, because these AYR jeans, this leather Cargo Biker jacket by All Saints and of course my beloved Celine, have been in heavy rotation as of late. I always say, it’s the cost per wear that makes spending the money worthwhile! xo
Jacket: All Saints Cargo Biker Jacket / Necklace: Bauble Bar (gift) / Sweater: Zara (gift from a client :) / Jeans: “The Skinny” by AYR (gift) / Flats: Christian Louboutin / Bag: Celine
Happy Wednesday! xo

Due to the on-again-off-again drizzly weather we had this past weekend, I pretty much lived in this cozy yellow knit. I love how bright and cheerful it is, especially on a gray and overcast day. Saturday night I met Keiko and Helena for a yummy dinner in Park Slope, then indulged in some much needed couch time at Keiko’s, snuggled up with her sweet cats, Kitty Boos, Vester and Lacy, and her pretty puppy, Miku. Animals and great friends really are the best, don’t you think? xo

This past week and weekend was spent working on inspiring projects, attending events, eating good with friends and hanging out with “A”. Kim was in town for most of the week and her boyfriend Brian joined us Saturday night for dinner at “A’s” place. We munched on cheese and sipped on wine while the boys whipped up salmon, purple fingerling potatoes and arugula salad with homemade dressing. It was so nice to spend an evening in, cooking and hanging out with friends. Sunday was spent brunching with Keiko and Bobby at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn (big fan) and taking outfit photos (thanks Bri!) “A” and I eventually made our way back to his place and relaxed on the couch snacking on leftovers and watching Boardwalk Empire. I feel so relaxed and refreshed, and ready to take on the week! xo
My Outfit: A Rainy Day In Brooklyn
Happy rainy Friday! So, a fun little teaser…as you can see, I am sporting my curly hair, which is a rarity on the blog, but expect a super fun post all about it next week. More to come on that soon! Anyway, I am spending the day with one of my best friends, Lex, is who currently 6 1/2 months pregnant, (!!!) at her lovely home in Carroll Gardens. We grabbed lunch, coffee (for me) and a cookie at Naider’s, which is a lovely little cafe with yummy food. This weekend I plan on laying low, spending time inside watching movies and being lazy. What are you up to this rainy weekend? xoxo
