Introducing…I Spy DIY Style!

I am beyond excited to share this amazing collaboration that my friend Jenni asked me to be a part of last summer. Kim, Jessica, and Alison and were lucky enough to appear on the pages of her book, I SPY DIY STYLE, which is chalk full of colorful do-it-yourself projects, all photographed by the impressive and lovely Jaime Beck, (my favorite photographer). We’ve been waiting on pins and needles to see the final product, but the day has come, and now you can pick up your own copy here! Thank you again Jenni, and to everyone involved, for such an awesome opportunity! xo

Timex Weekender/Giveaway: Part One

Over the summer, I had the pleasure of working with the classic and timeless watch brand, Timex on their Timex Weekender campaign. We created two videos (the second segment will be posted next week) with two different looks about how to bring a touch of your weekend style to your everyday outfits. I worked with a few of my favorite pieces to create some outfits—one slightly dressier, one more casual—based on the watches I wore. And, the best part is that all the watches are not only affordable, but act as stylish accessories to create that hard to find combination look of casual and sophisticated. Done and done. Daily Diamonds

For those of you who saw my diamond advertisement in the October issues of Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Esquire and Redbook, know that I was lucky enough to don some diamonds for the day while participating in an amazing shoot with the incredible diamond company, Hearts On Fire. One of the objectives of the campaign was to show how you can incorporate your diamond pieces, no matter if it’s your engagement ring or a diamond necklace, into your everyday look without looking overly fussy or stuffy. (I urge you try this with anything you have in your jewelry box whether it’s real or fake jewels. As long as it’s sparkly or shiny, try integrating it into your outfit with a few other simple accessories, and you might find that you get a bit of a kick out of it!)

During the shoot, I became extremely fond of a certain triple stacked diamond ring combination, which I’m wearing above (minus the pearl ring). To me it exudes elegance and simplistic grace all in one, and when I think of that description, I think of my grandmother Rita, who encompassed all that and more.

I decided to wear the three bands around my beloved pearl ring, which was hers once upon a time to honor my new and old favorite pieces. Not only does it signify something so special to me, but it combines my own personal style with classic and truly timeless jewelry. Needless to say, I’ve been wearing this little combination every day and loving it.

I just want to say another huge thank you to the team at Hearst and Hearts On Fire. It was such an honor to work with two such amazing companies. xoxo

As Seen In: Lucky Magazine / White House Black Market

Although the September issue of Lucky has been out on stands for a while now, I thought it would be appropriate to kick off the first of this (fashion heavy) month by sharing these photos from a shoot I did with Lucky and White House | Black Market earlier this summer. It has been a dream of mine to work with Lucky on a project and so when they approached me about collaborating with this great clothing brand, I was over the moon.
