Last batch of outfit photos from my recent trip to New Orleans. Can’t wait to get back down there – the one month countdown to Jazz Fest in on! P.S. Stay tuned for Friday Favorites this afternoon! xo
Last week, Keiko, Bobby and I met up with some friends in the Bywater to brunch at the yummy Booty’s Street Food. Lucky for me, she was kind enough to snap a couple photos of my new yellow shorts before we ran back in to devour our waffles and eggs!

As you might remember from this post, I recently teamed up with Ann Taylor and will be working with them over the next several months. So I wanted to tell everyone who loves to shop, that they are having a 30% sale on all full-priced pants, both in-store and online, today only! This sweet sale also includes these cheerful yellow shorts I’m wearing! (I also recently picked up these cuties when I was in New Orleans.) So, head on over and check out their fun selection – whether it’s for work or play, there are styles for all occasions!
These Ann Taylor “shooties” need to find their way into my shoe wardrobe stat. That is all.
The rain has been coming down here in Seattle, with bouts of sunshine here and there peaking through the clouds, which has made for lovely backdrops and scenic shots. So, when the drizzle took a brief rest, I knew I had to sneak in a few snaps before the drops started up again. The air was brisk enough to wear my new shearling jacket from Need Supply (yay!) but not so cold that I had to wear tights.
Besides loving this cozy new jacket, I am extremely fond of my new midnight-blue, pleated, double-tiered from ModCloth. Whether you dress it up for work with a crisp white button-down, a high pony-tail and Mary Jane heels, or dress it down for brunch with a boxy cropped sweater, a braid and leather flats, I love how classic and feminine the style is, while still remaining versatile and understated. Definitely a new wardrobe staple for me. Check it out here! xoxo
Hello hello! So, last night’s weather—actually all day—was amazingly warm out, so as I was getting ready for my friend Anne’s Birthday, I decided to brave it by wearing shorts. I haven’t worn shorts without tights in forever, and it felt very liberating to say the least. I found this awesome Ann Taylor shirt at the Goodwill in Ballard for $5 and first wore it, here. But, this time around, I wanted to mix it up a bit and try for a more casual look with shorts and boots. But, I would love to know, which look is your favorite? Hope you’re all having a lovely Friday! xoxo
