Vintage Havana Floral Romper

Vintage-Havana-Romper-Christine-Cameron-My-Style-Brooklyn-Bridge7

Finally sharing this romper with you guys, which was one of the items I scooped up during a recent Bloomingdales shopping haul. This one piece is great because it’s so easy to style – you just have to be a bit mindful of the top portion because it falls open, potentially leaving you quite exposed if you’re not careful! My quick remedy was to just slip on a black bandeau (you could also do a tank) and you’re all set!

P.S. I did a fun video shoot featuring this romper plus two other pieces that I recently bought from Bloomingdales, which you can watch here!

Pink Neoprene

Christine-Cameron-My-Style-Pill-Pink-Aqua-Skirt-Brooklyn-Bridge-6

The other day I popped into Bloomingdales because I was feeling very blah about my wardrobe and wanted to add some more colorful pieces to my closet. So I picked up a handful of really cute, patterned rompers, colorful dresses and this incredibly bright and flirty skirt from Aqua. I was initially drawn to this skirt because of it’s bold color, accentuated pleats and neoprene material, and because I don’t have a lot of pink in my closet, I decided to go out on a limb and purchase it for fun. I had a great time styling it up, and it didn’t hurt that I had an amazing view as my backdrop.

I also created a shopping haul video on my YouTube channel sharing all the things I bought if you’d like to take a look, or you can shop the pieces here!

Clover Canyon Midi Skirt, 4 Ways!

Clover-Canyon-Midi-Skirt-4-Ways-Thumb

Admittedly, I’ve only worn this skirt once before, but I LOVE it so much – the pattern, the material, everything – but for some reason, I never reach for it when getting dressed up. I tried to figure out why I haven’t worn it more often and I think it’s a combination of the length and the fact that the pattern is so bold. It feels really dressy and is quite the statement piece, but when styled a certain way, I think it could become more of a frequently worn piece in my wardrobe.

So, with that said, I decided to style it four different ways in an attempt to make it feel a bit more wearable. I kept all the accessories the same (minus the hat in two of the looks), and just varied the tops. I had so much shooting these outfits because this skirt is the best twirling skirt ever.

P.S. Don’t forget to head over to my YouTube channel and check out the video version of this post!

Ripped Jeans, Two Ways

Ripped-Jeans-Two-Ways-thumb

Hello, hello! Today’s post is all about these ripped jeans I found at Zara not too long ago. It’s safe to say that I absolutely love them and have been living in them ever since. They are the perfect length, they have the perfect amount of rips and holes in the knees and have just the right amount of 90s style infused into them. I love how they look with a pair of pointy pumps, or with a pair of sleek black leather mules – it makes me feel like I am back in 1996! Anyway, this is a style I can see myself wearing often because it’s effortless and comfortable and can transition easily from casual meetings to happy hour with friends.

Strapless Dress Style

Strapless-Dress-Style-thumb

Today’s post is all about strapless dress style! I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with strapless dresses because I am alway yanking them up, or I feel like I am baring too much shoulder and chest. But, in the end, I still think the style is really pretty, and therefore cave every time.

With that said, truth be told, I have not worn either of these dresses before, however, I always admire them when I see them hanging in my closet. I guess I have just not had the right occasion to wear them out, but seeing that it’s getting to be really warm in New York and there are a lot of upcoming weddings and parties on my agenda, what better time than to break out the strapless dresses!

Summer Style: Stripes x Neon

Summer-Style-Stripes-Neon-thumb

I was recently cleaning out my closet and realized that I hadn’t worn this bright neon pink skirt in a few years and never once wore this striped top. I really like both pieces, but for some reason, never found myself reaching for them. As I was holding the two separates in my hand about to toss them into the giveaway pile, I was taken with how much I loved the pattern and colors together. So, I saved them from the “no” pile and created an outfit around them instead!

Head on over to my YouTube channel to check out the video version of this post!

Step 1: Untucked, with no accessories.

Step 2. Added my favorite hat and did a little front tuck. You can leave the shirt untucked, but I feel like it helps create a waist and makes the outfit look more put together.

J.Crew-Neon-Stripes-Christine-Cameron-My-StylePill-myoutfit4

Step 3. Added heels! I could have worn flats, but I opted for a pair of feminine strappy heels to dress the look up a bit.

4. Last but not least, a (very) bright bag to top off the whole look. I love how vibrant and playful the colors look together – perfect for summer!

PAPER DOLL SERIES: Sneaker Style

IMG_9114-2
Hey everyone! So I’m bringing back the Paper Doll series! For those of you that have been reading this blog since the beginning, hopefully remember those posts, which were so fun to create.  And for those of you that are new to this blog, basically what this type of post entails is, me showing how to get dressed in different outfits, shown step by step through pictures sharing the different pieces I am wearing.

In today’s post, I wanted to show how you can still feel put together while wearing sporty shoes. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing my Nike trainers when running errands, but I usually have on a full workout outfit too, which means I have probably just come from the gym. So the four shoes I chose to style, are the kind can be worn out and about but with actual clothing from your closet so you can still feel cute and stylish at the same time! :) Alright, let’s take a look!
