Here is yet another glorious find at Buffalo Exchange! This dress is actually new, since they do new and recycled clothing, and was totally irresistible as well as affordable. Since my first time wearing it was at night, I decided to dash outside quickly to get a shot of it and share it with you all. This time around, I opted to wear a studded belt to add a playful and interesting contrast against the feminine rose pattern. In addition to sharing my new dress, I wanted to showcase the lovely Jessica and her similar version of this double layered number. She first wore it with flats—on the left—and most recently—shown on the right—changed it up with a hip vest and belt, and sexy heels, which gives the sweet dress a totally different look. Either way, she looks pehnomenal!

Outfit Remix: Striped Dress
Yesterday, I wore the striped dress as an actual dress, fairly dressed down and casual, but today I wanted to show it a different way—dressed up and as a top. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of these photographs. I love the way they look with the lighting and the still life-esque quality.

So it seems like it is pretty hot in New York right now, but Seattle has been having a bit of a cool streak compared to the extreme heat wave that took place when I first arrived in late July. And, I gotta say, the crisper weather has definitely been having an effect on me. I am already starting to think about what I am going to wear this fall. Plus, NY fashion week is soon to be upon us, so it is inevitable! What is the weather like where you are? Are you in full summer mode or are you dreaming of September?
Outfit Remix: One Skirt, Three Ways
Can you tell I had a lot of fun playing and remixing this skirt/top? After I wore it the second time (photo on the right) in a more causal manner, I wanted to see if I could dress it up as top and make it possible to wear out to a fancy occasion. I think the newest creation (at the very top) would be perfect for a night out to the Opera or Ballet or maybe to a fancy dinner with a special someone. What do you think? Do you have a favorite out of these three looks? Is there one particular style that resinates with you? And, lastly, if it were up to you, how would you wear this skirt and with what? You, my lovely readers, always have the best comments and ideas, so please, share. I love to hear your thoughts! xoxo
My Outfit: Lovely Sunday
This dress is another find I snagged from Buffalo Exchange, and I am really loving it. I was a little worried that it would be too fitted and tight, but with a jacket it feels a little more covered up, and I don’t feel so curvy and mermaid-like. I can totally see wearing this while wandering around a NYC street fair or to the outdoor Ballard Market on a lovely lazy Sunday. I am really liking the contrast of the yellow against the black and white. Thoughts?
P.S. I am already dreaming of remixes for this little number, but tell me, how would you do it?
No-lace Oxfords

I really like this look. I saw some black oxford flats in Buffalo Exchange yesterday, but as cute as they were on the shelf, I didn’t like them as much once I put them on. I wonder if I de-laced them if they would look more loosened up and casual. Mmmm…another trip to the wonderous B.E.? I’m thinking so.
P.S. Loving her entire look. Effortlessly cool. Le sigh.

Two different takes, one pair of shorts. I feel like these two outfits are similar, but in a way, completely different styles.

The best part of this remix? There is a remix within a remix going on here. Does anyone recognize the “top” in the second outfit? It is in fact, NOT a top! Check out how I first wore it here or click below!
My Before Outfit: Sweet Sundress
Isn’t this the sweetest little sundress you’ve ever seen? I am in love. I almost walked right past it in Buffalo Exchange but was so taken by the pattern and the crisscross straps in the back (photos to come) that I thought I’d just try it on for fun. Yay for me it actually fit and with a few inchaes taken off the bottom, it will be perfect! My lovely Grandmother volunteered to do hem it, along with a couple of my other dresses, so I am dropping them off today and should have them back later this week. So excited! Stay tuned!
