Hi everyone! How was your holiday? I’ve been in heaven here, spending the past two weeks enjoying quality time with my family, seeing good friends and cuddling with my favorite pup, Barney.

One of my favorite things to do when at home in Seattle is to visit an area called Richmond Beach, which is where I grew up. My friend Steph and I drove down there last week and took in the beautiful view and reminisced about being 17, driving around listening to music and talking about boys.

There is something about being next to a large body of water (more specifically, the ocean) that is so calming to me. I could sit on a piece of driftwood for hours, with this view in front of me, and be as happy as a clam.

Hi guys, happy Monday! Hope everyone’s weekend was great. I spent mine relaxing with my family and catching up with friends. It feels so good to be home.

My Dad shot these photos for me when we were out and about running errands in Fremont. I thought this wall mural was a nice, colorful change and felt like it contrasted nicely with my mostly grey and blue outfit, which now brings me to my look.

So, I had my eye on these grey leather pants and finally was able to snag them due to them being heavily on sale and some unused credit at Shopbop. They are so comfortable and such a pretty color. I actually took them to the tailor to get them shortened, right after photographing them, and can’t wait to get them back in a few weeks. I have a feeling they will be in heavy rotation over the next couple of months.

My new, most favorite flats…The Modern Loafer in Midnight by Everlane.

They are super comfortable and really well made. The leather is soft and flexible but also weather resilient at the same time. I absolutely love them and am currently on the wait list for the burgundy, and black version as well.

Have a happy week! xoxo

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon hanging out on the mud flats, and actually wore these wedges. I figured why not photograph the outfit with them on because realistically, these are the shoes I would’ve worn with this look anywhere else. But that said, I did have a pair of flip flops in my bag, however that would have been much too practical, right? My boring little flops would have taken away from the overall ensemble, and plus, the challenge of balancing in my sky high wedges while precariously walking over rocks and wet sand was much more fun. I know my Dad got a kick out of watching me hobble over the stones and shells, but I’m pretty positive, my Grandmother, Rita, would have been extremely proud. All in the name of fashion, right?

P.S. Thank to my amazing Dad for taking these photos. He always manages to remain patient and supportive no matter what the situation. xo

So, I promise I will be back in full force tomorrow, but in the meantime, I need to sleep off this jetlag, catch up with my family, and  hang out with this awesome dude. Look how big his paws are!!!

As always, thank you for being such wonderful readers. I hope you all enjoy your Wednesday, and I’ll see you tomorrow! xoxo

Hi Lovelies. I’m back in my home town, Seattle, and it feels so good. Sorry about not posting anything sooner, I had quite a day of traveling yesterday—got in 6 hours later than I was supposed to—so needless to say I slept in a bit this morning. Then with the time change and everything…I guess I’m just a little behind. But, fear not, because I am gearing up for my Little Black Dress remix challenge, so stay tuned!

I was given a few presents early this year, which consisted of beautiful black Hunter boots, new Patagonia yoga pants and a soft “Life is Good” shirt with an adorable dog on the front. :) I love dressing comfortably, especially when I am on vacation, so I was pumped to slip into these loungy items. Don’t you think it is just so nice to relax in soft, roomy clothing? I do! I just love snuggling and staying cozy in the winter, especially when there’s snow! So, I thought I’d share with you a few fun shots of me in my new duds. Thanks Mom and Dad!

MY HUNTER BOOTS! I am in love…

I love being home, yay!
