I’ve been down in New Orleans for for the past week celebrating my Birthday with my dear friends, Keiko, Kim, Helena, Lindsey. The weather was incredibly hot and humid the whole time, and day I wore this dress it had reached a high of 107 degrees. Needless to say, that level of heat doesn’t allow for much layering or jewelry, so I kept this look clean, simple and pretty in pink. I will be sharing more on my trip next week, but for now I want to wish you all a happy and relaxing weekend! xo

Glad you are back in NOLA already! I hope this means we have gotten under your skin and you will continue to visit often. The unrelenting heat & humidity do cause numerous sartorical sacrifices (makeup, hats, scarves and jewelry have all been used less since I moved here in 2002)but you are catching on quickly it seems. Laizzez les bon temps roule!
