Yesterday morning got off to a rocky start. I woke up ten minutes before I had to be at a breakfast meeting (thanks, alarm) and rolled out of bed throwing on whatever was nearby. After heading back home, I knew that my day and mood could go two ways. I could sink further into exhaustion (had lack of sleep lately),  stay in my all gray and black outfit and slam coffee all day while glued to my computer. Or, I could take a shower, clean myself up and put on my favorite bright culottes, a glitzy top, and accent only with animal print accessories to try and snap me out of my haze and into a productive and brighter mood. I went with the latter option (clearly) and ended up having a restful yet productive work day. I even snuck in a little nap. Sometimes a little suss is all you need to get you back on the right foot.
