Happy Wednesday!

I’ve been doing some thinking lately and decided that as a blogger with so many lovely readers, it’s high time I get inside your heads and understand your needs and wants as followers of this blog. I’d like to know if there are things you would like to see more of, less of, and so on and so forth.

For the most part, the blog format will remain the same, but I do think change can be good, so here goes!

For instance:

Are you guys super keen on seeing more remixes?

Do you prefer shorter text or more descriptive paragraphs on why/how I put my outfit together?

What about online shopping? How often do you find yourself clicking on links I provide in a post?

What your price points are when you go shopping? I know that I love places like Forever 21, H&M and Zara, but what about you?

Are you hoping to see more affordable, possibly thrifted items or do you respond to more high end, designer items?

Those are some quick questions that came to mind, but now it’s your turn. Let me know your thoughts! I just ask that you please keep everything kind and constructive. :) Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you! xoxo

I like to see good deals, interesting thrifted finds, and love a good remix… all of these things have inspired me in the past on your blog.

I think you’re doing great. I would love to read more about your personal styling. Maybe some makeovers? Maybe some up and coming fashion trends to give us non new yorkers a heads up?

I like to read about the thought process behind the outfits and why you put certain things together. I enjoy a mix of thrifted and new items and don’t have a set price point, although I rarely shop some of the younger type stores you mentioned. I can still get ideas though and adapt them for my age and style. For example, while I might not wear a mini, I can still be inspired by the colors and textures. You have a nice blog and I enjoy visiting each day. Thanks for asking for feedback!

I deft. like the remixes. So please keep those up! you give me some great ideas.
Also, keep everything affordable, because I know, designer items are just out of the question for me.
And I love love love your how to posts.

I always love seeing where you purchased/received things from, especially when they’re affordable…like F21 or Target or something. Would also like to hear a bit of chatter about how you chose a particular outfit. Price point when purchasing clothes…totally depends. Is it a statement piece like a dress or jacket I’ll wear forever, or jeans that will hug my arse like nothing else? I’ll pay $100-200. For shirts and basic necessities…$20-70.

To start, I love you blog as is, so I think you’re already doing a great job!!

But to specifically answer your questions… I live for remixes. I’m always looking for new ways to pair up what’s already in my closet, and seeing this on your site is very inspirational. I don’t necessarily need a lot of text, but would be interested to hear more behind the “why” of your outfits.

Regarding shopping, I actually don’t click much on the links mainly because I’m on a tight budget right now. But I might be apt to click more for unusual pieces… I’m willing to spend $$ and even splurge on items that are just different but relevant.

    Hope this helps :)

I really like the fact that your clothes and accessories are from places like Forever 21, H&M, etc.. Fashion doesn’t need to cost a fortune! and you proved that to everyone:P i also like it when you talk a lot about your outfits and where you took the inspiration.. it inspires us readers also!

I love your remixes. They inspire me to do the same in my own closet instead of seeking more clothes to buy (although I don’t need any help with that!). Definitely you should do more remixes. Also, please include more text! I love reading with how you came up with an outfit. The more descriptive the better. Writing makes me happy and I always think that it makes a blog richer.

I’m not much of a link clicker because I’m pretty set in my way in terms of where I shop. That and I’m supposed to be on a budget, so I tend to resist clicking.

In terms of where I shop, I love to see things that are inexpensive and that can be worn in many different ways. I love Forever21 too. It’s a staple in my closet for sure. And H&M as well. I couldn’t live without fast fashion. Despite what people may say, it does get high fashion out to the masses and allows us to have some fun on a lower budget.

That said, I also love high end things. I just think the money should be spent on things like accessories that you’ll have forever, like handbags, jewellery or shoes. Things that stand the test of time and that won’t be out of style next fall.

    Hope this long comment helps!!
Keep doing what you’re doing! I love it :)

I really enjoy this blog, I just found it last week, so the older posts are new to me- and I love them! The remixes are fabulous, the picture of you and your grandma made me smile. I love to know what inpires your outfits, what the occasions were that dictated the thought process. Thrifted is tough for me- it’s a tease b/c I can’t find and decent thrifted items…I love seeing H&M and Foverever 21 separates put together, layers for summer ( AC and a 90 degree day ). I want inspiration, subliminal ( sp? ) ideas for what to wear to the concert I am going to this weekend- but cannot pull together something from what I have in my closet…um…I am rambling now…lol.

I truly enjoy your site, but have not left many comments… so here I go! =)

I really like the remix posts. I also like seeing stuff that’s thrifted (or taken from a parent’s closet, so amazing!) and made more modern and more personal. Basically, I like posts that truly display your creativity and eye for style (you have a great one!). I like to hear about your process too – why you chose a certain look, what you thought of it, what you want to do with it next, and so on.

I really like fashion, but I’m not super committed to it; however, I try to let creativity flourish in everything I do, so I usually buy all of my clothing/accessories at thrift stores, but I still like seeing what you do with the higher-end pieces as well.

Hope that helps! Have a whimsical day! =)

I’m a huge fan of your blog and think you do a great job with it :) I love reading your thoughts about your outfits and how/why you put them together, and definitely love that you seem to mix some of the pricier items (like your coach heels or whatnot) with the more affordable target/F21 clothes. Remixes are always great… I get all my layering and remixing inspriration from you.
I’d love, love, love to see more thrifted outfits. My price range varies- I’m on a super tight budget and when shopping the more generic stores I spend as little as possible, but don’t mind spending more for quality items from higher end stores. I have to admit I don’t often click the links, but only because I’m not from the US- the shipping is soooo expensive!
    Good luck! xo

I like reading how and why you put together outfits. For me, thrifted or affordable items are more my bag than designer, but I’m happy to see either.

Whatever you decide, keep posting because I love your blog.

I like seeing you wear your outfits in different environments–like while you’re washing the dishes or out to dinner. The posed shots are super cool too, but it’s always nice to see you in context.
