It’s nothing new that I love me some stripes, so when I first saw this Breton striped boatneck sweater on one of the mannequins at the Gap, I was immediately in love. I ducked into the store but for the life of me could not find it anywhere! After searching a few more locations, I ended up snagging it at the store on 42nd street, and got it for 40 percent off with a coupon! Score. Upon bringing it home, I immediately starting brainstorming how I was going to wear it. That’s when I saw my striped dress draped on the couch. Bingo! Stripes on stripes! What’s better than that?!
I am going out to dinner with one of my best friends for dinner tonight and think that I will wear this outfit since the weather has been cooperating lately. Happy Friday! Have a lovely weekend. xoxo

I love the stripes on stripes. I looks very classic with the trench. When you add the headband it looks like you could be part of Blair Waldorf’s crowd.

I am also obsessed with stripes. What I like about this is that it blends perfectly with the dress and it actually just looks like a dress with a double stripe pattern, which is so cool!

I adore stripes! For a while that is all I ever owned. That trench coat is fabulous. I love the navy blue instead of tan or black or something. I loove those shoes as well!!
