Hello dearies! So, remember when I wore this flowery number with my black skirt a few weeks ago, and then before that when I just wore it just by itself? Well, as a huge fan of layering jumpers/rompers/onesies, I wanted to try out my newly shorted blue skirt with this lovely floral piece. I think it makes for a really sweet top, plus the yellow belt helps tie the two items together while bringing out the dashes of color in the print of the one-piece. I wore this over to a family BBQ last week and stayed nice and cool in the heat while we ate a yummy dinner out on the patio. Outfit Remix: Floral Onesie
Happy Wednesday! I hope you all have been having a lovely week so far. I definitely have. I have been working from home in Seattle, taking walks with my Mom, thrift shopping and eating yummy ice cream with my Dad (pictures of that to come later today!) But first, can anyone tell me if they recognize this flowered top? Well, to be honest, it is not a top at all! It’s actually a romper which I wore not too long ago. Now, I am not a huge advocate of covering a fabulous onesie, but from time to time, when you need to switch things up in the wardrobe area, try this little trick. If you slip it under a kicky little skirt, you’ll instantly have a new blouse. Plus, look at the shorts as a little under-the-skirt-insurance if the wind starts to blow!

Due to the fact that my life has taken a turn for the extremely busy, I haven’t had much time to photograph outfits this week. So, I thought it would be fun to take a peek down memory lane, and see what I was doing and wearing one year ago today.
This outfit shot was taken in my backyard at home in Seattle. I had flown home and spent a nice long month with my family and had a great time photographing a ton of ensembles. This “top” is actually a romper and you can see the original outfit and post, here!
Alright, my lovely readers, I hope your day is off to a great start and remember to keep your chins up, because it’s almost Friday! Woo hoo! xoxo
Remix Challenge: Day 4
Can anyone else believe that it’s the 21st? Holy cow, where has the time gone, seriously. I hope you all have had great luck with Christmas shopping. But, if you need any last minute gift ideas, I will be finishing up the last of my Gift Guide over the next day or two, so stay tuned!
But, for now, I give you Day 4’s ensemble. Click below to see!
Outfit Remix: Switchin’ It Up
This photo is of an outfit I wore back in early August but I totally forgot to tell you guys that my top in the first post from today is actually a skirt! The exact skirt, in fact, that I wore in the photo above! When I put it on with my new flared jeans, I loved the way it ruffled out at the bottom, and when belted, it helped draw in the flowiness of it a bit. Et voila!
