Happy Monday! Sorry I was absent on Friday. My charger died and since I was in a little town in Cape Cod and wasn’t quite sure where to go to find a replacement charger, I didn’t have much choice but to close my computer and head outside! But, I missed you all and by the time I was able to charge my computer again, I felt like I had been out of touch forever! One little discovery I came across once I was able to turn my computer back on, was that the photos from the first day of the conference—that the talented Eddie Newton took. They are finally up! Plus all the amazing photos of the other girls from the conference. Eeeeee! Love them! Here is another great find that I picked up from Buffalo Exchange. This was one of their new pieces and it has quickly become a new favorite of mine. It is super soft and comfy and I love the bright colors against the muted gray.

I hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend. I spent mine at a family clam boil and it was so much fun! This was my fourth of July outfit, which is a dress that didn’t fit correctly in the top, so I turned it into a skirt by tucking the top part underneath. I love it when you can transform an item of clothing into something unexpected! Anyway, I wanted to incorporate the traditional red, white and blue, so I opted for a navy blue tank-slip and a crisp white blazer. What did you wear for the 4th?

Yesterday as I was sitting in Starbucks sipping my coffee, I spotted this incredibly stylish girl walk in and immediately hopped up to take her photo. I could not stop gushing about her outfit, so note to readers: I am working on my July Inspiration Board, and this girl is definitely going on it! Love her look! What inspires you, my dears?

I was on The Sartorialist today, catching up on the past few days worth of posts, and came across this cute girl. This photo was taken at Governor’s Island during the The annual Jazz-Age Lawn Party, which was this past Saturday and Sunday. I attended last year and had a blast, but sadly didn’t make it this time around. Maybe next year! If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend you check it out!

I am often inspired by my friend’s style and love to share their outfits. Today I would like to feature my dear friend Lex and her individual style and finesse. I love how she puts things together and I believe her to be the only person I know that can wear two completely different earrings and make it look like it wasn’t a mistake. She can also show up to a casual bar wearing an almost entirely pink outfit—dress, nails, shoes—and not look like she is trying too hard, or resembles a pink cupcake. In this case, this outfit is one of her more causal looks, but is just as put together as anything else she might wear. I am loving her shoes—a present from her awesome boyf—and I like how she pairs different metals and jewels together. All in all, super cute and stylish, yet casual and comfortable.

On my way to Sat Harbor last week, I saw this girl in the subway and just had to take a photo of her outfit. I am loving her soft denim trousers and bright shoes. Cute!

Last week I went to a party with my friend Ayn and she introduced me to her good friend Bailey. She and I began chatting, hit it off, and then I made her let me take photos of her gorgeous dress and phenom shoes. Doesn’t she look lovely? And, she is getting married soon! Congrats Bailey!

While crossing the street on my way home the other day, I spotted these two very fashionable and hip girls and immediately stopped them for a few photos. I love their cool style—check out those rocking vintage YSL sunglasses and how the girl on the right used two feathers as a neat hair accessory. Sweet!
