Sunglasses: Saint Laurent (gift) / Shirt, Skirt and Necklace: Top Shop (via Nordstrom) / Shoes: Corso Como (old – c/o) / Coach Bag
Happy Friday! I’m down in New Orleans right now enjoying the warmer weather, good friends and of course, the amazing food. I packed pretty lightly for this trip, but did manage to bring one nicer outfit with me, which happened to be the look I wore to my Top Shop for Nordstrom event last week. The party was so fun. My friends and family were there, plus I got to meet some sweet readers and help people shop the new collection. You can buy online here!

Hello, hello! How is it Monday again already? The past five days flew by way too quickly, but I’m so happy I was able to jet home to Seattle for a quick visit to host a very fun event with Nordstrom and Top Shop (you can see some photos from the event, here), and of course see my friends, family and the apple of my eye, Barney. :) He is currently snoring away as I type.
Yesterday we took him to Woodland Park and let him run around to burn off some energy. He is the funniest of pups – I love watching him play, explore and smell everything in sight. Seattle is absolutely beautiful right now and the colors of the leaves (I’m seriously in awe) are breathtaking. Afterward, I met up with my best friend to walk Greenlake (don’t worry, I changed my shoes) and I literally made her stop every five minutes so I could photograph the trees and leaves surrounding us. The colors are just too good. Fall is my favorite and it never gets old. I just try to soak it all in and savor these perfect autumn days before the season is gone, once again.
I hope you have an easy week ahead of you, and I’ll see you tomorrow! xo
P.S. Can you find Barney?
Karen Walker “Super Duper Strength” Sunglasses / HRH Necklace (c/o) / Miss Wu Dress – now on sale! (c/o) / Top Shop White Leather Vest
Rebecca Minkoff Monogramed Pouch (c/o – I like this one too) / Bracelets: J.Crew and Charlotte Russe / Nine West Heels (mine are old, but here is a similar version, plus they are on sale!)

This cute dress is from the Miss Wu collection, which launched in January 2013 exclusively at Nordstrom and takes on designer Jason Wu’s vision of the “modern gamine with a hint of 1960s inspiration.” I love a bold printed sheath, but if this pattern is a bit too out there for you, here are a couple other similar dresses I’m loving at the moment from the Gap and J.Crew. Both sites are having online sales today, so definitely check them out!
P.S. I recently had the pleasure of popping into the new and updated Savvy department at Nordstrom the last time I was in Seattle and was interviewed for a fun little feature. You can check it out here! xo
David Yurman Sunglasses (c/o) / Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Vest / H&M Sweater / Zara Pants / Ash “Cool Ter” Sneaker / 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Satchel / Coach Watch
Just a few photos taken last week by Lydia. I wore this outfit to run some errands before the craze of fashion week began. I find that I tend to gravitate towards some version of this type of ensemble when I am out and about and need to be comfortable but still want to look put together. So I opt for wedge sneakers, skinny jeans or pants, a comfy oversized sweater and of course, a large enough bag to fit my entire life. Seems to fit the bill every time! xo
Karen Walker Sunglasses / Zara Jacket (similar version here - to make it warmer, just layer with a faux fur vest underneath!)/ F21 Shirt (similar version here) / H&M Faux Leather Pants (high and low options) / Ash “Cool Ter” Sneaker / Givenchy Pandora Bag
This is the very last batch of photos that my Dad took of me in Seattle. I bought these wedge sneakers at Nordstrom (my mecca) while in town and have been practically living in them. I love the color combination and how they give me just the right amount of height while looking sort of sporty chic.
Anyway, I hope your week is off to a great start. I am still struggling from jet lag but am looking forward to posting a mixture of photos from my trip to Copenhagen with ECCO and from the fast-approaching, New York Fashion Week, so get ready! xo
I have been wanting a “gold” watch for quite some time now, but have yet to come across the right one. For a while I thought it might be nice to have a slim, more elegant version, but I am digging these chunkier options. Now, the decision is whether I should fork up a lot of a little for the watch at hand. These two above are not identical and do have different looks to them, but are generally the same idea. I must say, that I am always partial to ModCloth’s items, plus their prices are both wallet friendly and stylish. So, what do you think, dear readers? Save or splurge?! Oh the decisions!
