Outfit Details:

Prada Sunglasses | Janessa Leone Hat | Zara Coat (similar styles here and here) | ASTR Dress via Nordstrom | Aritzia Turtleneck Sweater | Tights (unknown) | Aldo OTK Boots (mine are old – but here is a similar style by Steve Madden) | Proenza Schouler Bag

I used to do a lot of remixes on the blog and realized that I need to bring that back, so today’s remix is all about and my new ASTR dress. I wanted to show how you can wear it two different ways (even when it’s chilly outside) by simply switching out just a few pieces.

I first wore this dress in yesterday’s post with a black turtleneck underneath, but today’s post is all about layering over the top with a sleeveless chunky knit.

Let me know if there is a piece or style of clothing that you would like to see me remix on the blog, by leaving a comment below! xo

I bought this navy military coat from Zara years ago, and it is still one of my favorites. Sadly, it is no longer available but I found a handful of very similar and affordable styles that you can shop down at the bottom of the post.

Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Weekly Edit! This week it’s all about the pre-Anniversary Nordstrom sale! And for those of you that have a Nordstrom card, you can start shopping now, otherwise the full on sale starts July 17th and goes until  August 2nd.

Side note: For those of you that aren’t familiar with this series, it focuses on my favorite sites, highlighting my favorite pieces, and will change and rotate every Wednesday with different styles and price points. Happy shopping! xoxo

Happy Wednesday! So, for those of you that saw this series last week, you know what it’s all about. But since it’s new, for those of you that are just joining us, I just want to quickly explain what to expect every Wednesday from now on. :)

I am introducing something called The Weekly Edit. This is in no way a new concept in the fashion industry or the blog world, but I love the way it sounds and have wanted to create a consistent weekly shopping post for a while now, so that is what I have decided to call this series.

It will focus on my favorite sites, highlighting my favorite pieces, and I will change and rotate the sites and selections every Wednesday with different styles and price points, so hopefully there will be something for everyone!

Now without further adieu, I bring you this week’s Weekly Edit!

Happy shopping! xoxo

So, apparently I loved this bag so much and was so incredibly devastated when it was stolen that I ended up re-buying it. It was the last one at Nordstrom and I just couldn’t let it go. But by losing it the first time around, it helped me realize how much I actually used it and would reach for it daily, and how often I wasn’t reaching for some of my other bags. This prompted me to think about selling a few of them in the near future and I was curious if you guys would be interested? Let me know! xo

shop-my-favesOne of the many reasons I love visiting Seattle, is Nordstrom is at my fingertips. I love going into the downtown store, especially during the holidays because it’s so festive and cheerful. The salespeople are friendly and helpful and there is a plethora of goodness surrounding you everywhere you turn. I grew up going to Nordstrom and to this day, it still holds a special place in my heart – almost nostalgia-like. Anyway, for those of you that don’t have an actual brick and mortar store to visit, I thought I would bring it to you, online. It’s just a small little round-up, but below are a few of my favorite things right now – most of which I already own. A mix of practical to classic to cheeky items –  everything is under $300. And with all the gifting we are doing for our loved ones right now, I think it’s nice to remember to treat ourselves to something as well during this crazy shopping season, don’t you think? xo

Happy Friday! I’m down in New Orleans right now enjoying the warmer weather, good friends and of course, the amazing food. I packed pretty lightly for this trip, but did manage to bring one nicer outfit with me, which happened to be the look I wore to my Top Shop for Nordstrom event last week. The party was so fun. My friends and family were there, plus I got to meet some sweet readers and help people shop the new collection. You can buy online here!

Hello, hello! How is it Monday again already? The past five days flew by way too quickly, but I’m so happy I was able to jet home to Seattle for a quick visit to host a very fun event with Nordstrom and Top Shop (you can see some photos from the event, here), and of course see my friends, family and the apple of my eye, Barney. :) He is currently snoring away as I type.
Yesterday we took him to Woodland Park and let him run around to burn off some energy. He is the funniest of pups – I love watching him play, explore and smell everything in sight. Seattle is absolutely beautiful right now and the colors of the leaves (I’m seriously in awe) are breathtaking. Afterward, I met up with my best friend to walk Greenlake (don’t worry, I changed my shoes) and I literally made her stop every five minutes so I could photograph the trees and leaves surrounding us. The colors are just too good. Fall is my favorite and it never gets old. I just try to soak it all in and savor these perfect autumn days before the season is gone, once again.
I hope you have an easy week ahead of you, and I’ll see you tomorrow! xo
P.S. Can you find Barney?
