Today’s post features a fairly simple look I wore out to lunch with my Dad the other day. I created this outfit around these leather pants, which are my absolute favorite (I scored them 40 percent off at Nordstrom over Christmas!) and paired them with a striped turtleneck from Forever 21, my Everlane navy leather loafers and a bright red lip, courtesy of L’Oreal Paris’ long lasting lip color in Infallible Red.
It was a typical Seattle spring day, so I wore a mid-weight light wool overcoat from Zara over the top of the outfit along with my J.Crew inifinty scarf, just in case it got a little chilly.

Hi guys! It’s Tuesday and you know what that means…that’s right, a new YouTube video goes up today! It will be up by 12EST and I will be sharing what I picked up during a recent shopping haul from J.Crew. I shopped their sale and ended up leaving with a handful of things that were an extra 40 percent off the sale price! I love it when I luck out like that.
Anyway, I would love for you guys to check out the video, but in the meantime, I thought I would show two of the pieces that I bought (a t-shirt and scarf) and how I created a fairly simple, but cute outfit around them.
Truth be told, I’m obsessed with this skirt. And like I mentioned here, I am going to remix the heck out of it over the next week. For this particular look, I could see it fit for a meeting or appointment (depending on your industry of course) since the heels and blazer elevate the casual tee. Then later on in the evening, I would slip off the blazer and pop on the hat for a more playful vibe to partake in an outdoor happy hour with friends.
Remember when I said I went a little crazy at J.Crew? I just couldn’t help myself, there were just so many cute items to pick up and add to my closet for spring. But in order to make this shopping spree worth my while, I decided to combine and remix a few of items I bought in a bunch of different ways, so I will be rolling out those looks throughout the week. Stay tuned!

I recently went a little nuts at J.Crew in order to give my closet a bit of a spring refresh, and ended up coming home with quite a few new cute things. I generally dress fairly casually when running errands and working from home, but sometimes I want to look a bit more polished than usual. These pants are the silkiest, most comfortable pair I’ve worn in a long time and I love swishing around in them – they have great movement, unlike a lot of suit pants I’ve tried in the past. I decided to pair them with a more casual piece on top and this camo sweatshirt was the perfect thing to dress the overall look down a bit. I kept my accessories muted by opting for grays and silvers and topped it all off with a bright coral lip.

Currently battling a sinus/head cold – ugh. I really don’t like taking a lot of drugstore medication, so besides a ton of water and sleep, do you guys have any natural remedies you recommend? Would love to hear them! xo
