Currently battling a sinus/head cold – ugh. I really don’t like taking a lot of drugstore medication, so besides a ton of water and sleep, do you guys have any natural remedies you recommend? Would love to hear them! xo
Just a quick shout out and thank you to one of my dear clients, for selling me her beautiful boots (shown above). She recently purchased them hoping they’d work out, but in the end decided that she didn’t love them for herself. Knowing that I had been coveting them forever, she sold them to me at a deeply discounted price, after only wearing them once. I am over the moon, so thank you, C! xo
Photos by: My Dad :)
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon hanging out on the mud flats, and actually wore these wedges. I figured why not photograph the outfit with them on because realistically, these are the shoes I would’ve worn with this look anywhere else. But that said, I did have a pair of flip flops in my bag, however that would have been much too practical, right? My boring little flops would have taken away from the overall ensemble, and plus, the challenge of balancing in my sky high wedges while precariously walking over rocks and wet sand was much more fun. I know my Dad got a kick out of watching me hobble over the stones and shells, but I’m pretty positive, my Grandmother, Rita, would have been extremely proud. All in the name of fashion, right?
P.S. Thank to my amazing Dad for taking these photos. He always manages to remain patient and supportive no matter what the situation. xo
This outfit sums up my usual Sunday attire, which always seems to involve a simple v-neck and my favorite pair of distressed jeans. I opted for my bright new red heels for a pop of color to spruce up this look but always carry a pair of flats with me just in case, especially when I am out and about all day. I added an equally bright red lip and my favorite go-to bag to create an easy day-to-night look. What’s your Sunday style?

Welcome to week two of my collaboration with 7FAM jeans! You can read all about last week and my first resolution by clicking here. But today I am introducing my second New Year’s resolution, which is to continue to travel and explore places I have always wanted to visit outside of New York City.
Last week I was lucky enough to spend five days in Copenhagen for Fashion Week. Amongst going to shows, I also went on a canal ride, visited the Royal Palace and had a tour of Georg Jensen’s studio headquarters. I spent time with new friends eating traditional Danish food, drinking wine and wandering around getting lost. It was wonderful, despite the dropping temperatures.
I know that I was extremely lucky with all the travel I was able to do in 2012 and I also know that to keep my drive, passion and ambitions strong I need to keep exploring and seeing what’s out there. Getting out of town reminds me that there is a whole big world outside of this little bubble/island we call Manhattan. And as much as I love New York City, I need to leave occasionally in order to reboot and ground myself. So, whether it’s for a long weekend upstate or for a week in another country, here’s to more traveling and exploring in 2013! xo

I first came across the amazing Santa Barbara based boutique, dressed, last spring when I was in town on vacation with my parents. I instantly fell in love with everything in the store (mainly their gorgeous selection of designer handbags) so when they recently approached me about participating in a fashion style challenge with this bag, I jumped at the chance. I have loved seeing how these lovely ladies (Krystal This Time Tomorrow, Jacey of Damsel in Dior, Tara of The Wonder Girl, Audrey of Casual Glamorous, Kiara of Tobruck Ave, Lynzy of Sparkling Footsteps and Alicia of Cheetah Is The New Black) have styled it and can’t wait to see who the lucky winner will be! I am passing the bag onto our last girl (tear!) so stay tuned to see how Anna of See Jane styles this little beauty! xo
