Lately I’ve been very into pairing navy and black together, as is in the case of this outfit. (I promise the suede paneling you see is dark navy.) What’s funny about this is, growing up I was told that black and blue, as well as black and brown, were never supposed to be worn together. And look at the crazy color combos out there now! But that’s what is fun about fashion – it keeps reinventing itself, all the while keeping us on our toes. xo
I saw these bright bubblegum pink-colored shorts at a recent Express preview and fell in love with them immediately. Not long after, I came across them in stores and quickly scooped up a pair of my own. I love the fit and color and feel like they can easily be dressed up or down, while still allowing you to feel chic and put together. If you can find them at a nearby Express, I highly recommend them! xo
This is the very last batch of photos that my Dad took of me in Seattle. I bought these wedge sneakers at Nordstrom (my mecca) while in town and have been practically living in them. I love the color combination and how they give me just the right amount of height while looking sort of sporty chic.
Anyway, I hope your week is off to a great start. I am still struggling from jet lag but am looking forward to posting a mixture of photos from my trip to Copenhagen with ECCO and from the fast-approaching, New York Fashion Week, so get ready! xo
Lately I’m finding that I’m very into shirts and sweatshirts with cheeky words or sayings on them. Case in point – this particular sweater, which caught my eye while browsing online at F21 last week. I think there is something about the contrast of the heather gray and cherry-orange red together that I love, or maybe it’s the bold, uppercase lettering that seems to be yelling “RELAX!” to anyone walking by. Whatever it might be, I still dig it. xo
These glasses are a lot of fun to wear, let me tell you. I don’t feel or think I look different when I have them on while walking down the street, but then I remember that I am in fact wearing sunglasses with seriously reflective pinkish-yellow lens and no one can see my eyes. Not even if they tried. I’ll be honest, they sort of make me feel like a superhero – invincible and ready to take on the world. xo
Look 1: J.Crew Sweater (passed on to me by a client) / Zara Jacket and Shoes (they’re navy!) / Gap Legging Jeans (old) / Givenchy Bag / Charlotte Russe Bracelets / Top Shop Earrings
Just a mix of photos taken over the past few weeks, both in New York and Seattle, that I haven’t gotten around to sharing yet. A couple of the shots might not have the best lighting or be slightly blurry, but I liked the outfits regardless and wanted to share them with you anyway. And besides, this way, you get three looks in one!
