Just wanted to do a little recap of all the great things Chevy Malibu has been doing lately. For those of you just joining, you can read all about my adventure with Helena here and here, where we drove a brand new, red Malibu upstate for a weekend getaway. Then there was the fashion show and meet and greet with Isaac in LA, that sadly I couldn’t attend, but my good friend Helena did – view her cute photos here. And now, the Isaac Mizrahi x Chevy Malibu collection, that I have been patiently waiting for, is available on Living Social, which you can view and purchase here! Lastly, I will be doing a giveaway next Friday with all the items, which will include the blouse, driving moccasins, red colored skinny jeans and a double handle tote bag. Helena is doing her giveaway today, so head on over and enter since there is even more of a chance for you all to win these great pieces!

P.S. Here is a cute video of Isaac and his muses to give you a better idea of what this great program is all about!

For those of us just joining us, my good friend and fellow blogger, Helena, and I teamed up with Chevrolet to test drive the new 2013 Chevy Malibu and headed up state for a little road trip (read all about it here!) to try out this cute little cherry-red car. You can read all about our trip here, but if you’d like to take a look, here is a little photo montage from our trip upstate!

Helena and I teamed up with Chevrolet in conjunction with their new 2013 Chevy Malibu, and Isaac Mizrahi, who created a capsule collection based on this adorable cherry-red ride. He went all around the country, visiting four different women who acted as his “muses” and gathered up inspiration from their lives and closets to create this collection. I can’t wait to see what he came up with. Luckily we won’t have to wait long, since the show debuting the collection is next week!
You will also be able to check out LivingSocial, which has created a page for Malibu Style, and offers daily deals based on the cities where he met with his “muses”. The collection will go on sale in mid-October, and will be available on LivingSocial Shop, so stay tuned. And don’t forget to watch Isaac in action in these cute videos, herehere and here!

So, to kick off this fun program, Helena and I decided to take the car out for a spin and go on a mini road trip. We settled on Warwick, New York, where we went apple picking, checked out pumpkins for the upcoming holiday and basically just took in the beautiful scenery upstate.
We stayed at one of my favorite B&Bs in the area called, the Inn at Stony Creek. If you ever have a chance to get out of the city, I highly recommend heading to this little gem of a place. The owners are amazing (cooked us customized breakfasts) and the decor and feel is so charming and cozy.

We took the lovely Keiko Lynn with us to take our photos and the three of us had quite the lovely time. Although we were only there two days, we left feeling refreshed and refueled.
