Happy Tuesday! I know it’s not quite December, but I’ve got holiday parties on the brain, so I decided to head on over to ASOS and browse their dresses. There were so many gems, but after scouring page after page, I narrowed down my favorites to these nine styles. If any of these strike your fancy, you can shop them below! xo
After enjoying 80 degree weather in New Orleans this past weekend, I am now in Seattle where it is officially fall. I’m not going to lie, it’s been a bit of an adjustment seeing that it’s around 55 degrees here, but I love how crisp the air is, and the leaves are changing into beautiful gold and plum colors all around. Plus it’s almost time for gingerbread lattes (YAY!) at Starbucks, so I’m pretty sure autumn is in full swing. xo
Happy Wednesday! Just a note to let you all know about an awesome sweepstakes that ASOS is running until this Friday. Enter here for a chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree (!!!) and for each of the first four 5 faves you create each day, you will receive an entry into the ASOS Grand Prize Sweepstakes! Above I created a little outfit around my five favorite things that are currently on my wish list. Alright, now hop to it because you only have a couple days left to enter! xo
Would you believe I’ve had this colorful cover-up since January. I ordered it for my LA trip early this year, but it didn’t come in time, so I had to save it for the warmer months to come. Then Sarasota with one of my best friends, Liz, came up and voila! It became the perfect go-to item for Florida sun-bathing. I love mixing and matching my beach and pool-wear as much as I do my day-to-day outfits, but I love it even more when the pieces I buy are under $20! Sadly this printed piece is no longer available on ASOS, but here is a similar style, nor is this bathing suit but you can buy a similar version here! xo
The other night I partook in a very cool photo shoot along side Keiko, Lindsey, Tess, and Helena, who I finally got to meet! She is the beautiful girl behind the lovely blog, Brooklyn Blonde, and let me tell you, she is just as lovely in person. (She was the one that actually inspired me to buy the skirt I’m wearing, which I got it on sale at ASOS for $18, after I first saw her wear it here.) I just have to say, I feel so lucky to have met so many wonderful and inspiring women in this industry and be a part of so many amazing opportunities. I’m a lucky girl. xoxo
RayBan Aviators / Trouve Knit Sweater (from Nordstrom) / Necklace (?) / Charlotte Russe Bracelets/ Vintage Belt / UO Shorts / Zara O-T-K Socks / Seychelles Ankle Boots (from Gilt Groupe)
Remember this girl’s adorable outfit? Well, I recreated it except with my own twist…I wore the rust-colored piece on the bottom and the neutral color up top. But, you get the gist. On another note, I think part of my winter uniform is going to involve ankle boots. I never used to think I could pull them off, but when worn with socks or jeans, they are a pretty cute and easy way to look good and still be comfortable.
