I woke up at 7:45 this morning like a kid on Christmas and immediately turned on my computer to watch the Coach MYNY video! It was so much fun to see all the footage, and bloggers come together in the final video, and on the Coach site no less! If you haven’t checked it out, do so now! : )

I took these photos a few weeks ago, right when I got my new Coach shoes and bag, and loved the outfit so much that I wanted to save it for a special post. Well, if this isn’t a super special post, then I don’t know what is!

Once we got home, I dropped off my one small carry-on (I managed to pack light again!) and we headed to the beach close by to where I grew up, with my one of my best friends Allie, who recently moved back to Seattle from New York. It was amazing to spend some quality Northwest beach time with her, my parents and of course, The Barnster. Oh yes. There are about 1,000 nicknames for this dog. But honestly, he is truly amazing, has the best disposition, and is ridiculously handsome. He is so good natured, friendly and just overall a very happy puppy. Okay sorry, enough bragging. Anyway, here are a few fun shots from our day at the beach!

Last week I went and met the lovely Vanessa from Obey, who was kind enough to show me the brand’s new line of clothing and accessories. The preview was held at the very hip and chic Ace Hotel, which I am still jonesing to have brunch there—any takers?—and I immediately fell in love the space. The items were showcased in one of the sleeping rooms, and the selection was fresh, edgy and fun. Truth be told, I wanted it all. I took a few snaps of my favorite pieces, but my very favorite item was the wolf head ring that was given to me in the gift bag! I have pretty much been wearing it since and am mildly obsessed with it. Isn’t it fierce and fab?! Yes, I just used the word fierce, that is how awesome I think this ring is. Happy rainy Friday! So, a fun little teaser…as you can see, I am sporting my curly hair, which is a rarity on the blog, but expect a super fun post all about it next week. More to come on that soon! Anyway, I am spending the day with one of my best friends, Lex, is who currently 6 1/2 months pregnant, (!!!) at her lovely home in Carroll Gardens. We grabbed lunch, coffee (for me) and a cookie at Naider’s, which is a lovely little cafe with yummy food. This weekend I plan on laying low, spending time inside watching movies and being lazy. Okay, so this dress is case of love at first sight. Honestly, I walked by it once on Bleecker street about a week back, and drooled over it, but kept on walking. Then, this past weekend, by happenstance, I walked by the store again, but this time, I dragged my friend in after me, and after five minutes in the dress, it was a done deal. Anyway, since we are being totally honest here, yesterday, I put on my pretty new party dress, and wore it it for like 20 minutes—just sitting cross legged on my bed doing work—before actually getting dressed. I also created this outfit for pure fun and haven’t actually worn it out of the house yet. Methinks that needs to change asap.
