Happy Tuesday everyone! As my readers, you guys know I LOVE sunglasses and will wear a pair any chance I get, even if it’s raining outside. So you can imagine my excitement when I partnered with Colors In Optics to style 6 pairs of their sunglasses to represent 6 different neighborhoods in New York City: Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Gramercy Park, Soho, Tribeca and the Lower East Side. Let’s dive in!

Upper East Side

For the glamorous girl living on the Upper East Side, this oversized brown tortoise style called the “Theresa” is just the accessory to top off her polished elevated ensemble as she makes her way to lunch with friends.

Upper West Side

This gal is on the go – a well-dressed Mom that still wants to look effortless and fun! The “Stutz” sunglasses with their cheeky reflective lens pair perfectly with her look, and can easily transition from chasing her kids at the playground to play dates at the park!

Mid-Town East

Polished and classic with a no muss fuss attitude, this career minded woman is all about timeless style. Whether she is running to a business lunch or an early happy hour, the “Benz II” sunnies fit the bill, with their large tortoise frame and understated elegance.

Whether she is popping between casting calls or coffee dates, this hip young thing will never leave her place without her “Lunar” sunglasses in hand. The combination of the slightly oversized frames paired with the all black traditional aviator shape screams downtown cool.

This artistic trendsetter is all about comfort and style, and loves the classic feel of the “Stellar.” The unexpected blue reflective lens paired with the old school shape feels refreshing and on trend.

Lower East Side

This chick is too cool for school. Whether she’s off to class or heading to a café to study, she rocks these contemporary, hipster “Bowie” glasses, with their circular frames and their colored lens, which fit perfectly with her playful personality.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I had fun making it.

Zara Black Romper 2

Definitely channeling my inner 90s child with this outfit, haha. I used to wear little tees under strappy dresses with chokers all the time when I was younger, and here I am doing it again, many years later. I guess that’s what’s fun (and funny) about fashion – it always seems to come back around!

I hope you all have a good one and I’ll see you back here tomorrow! xo

I love an excuse to layer pretty lacy bras under whatever I’m wearing because I think it adds such a pretty addition to any outfit. In this case, this little romper has always been a little too big for me and never looked quite right with a regular bra, so when Anine Bing sent me this pretty black number, I knew it would be perfect.

(If you haven’t checked out her delicates and camisoles, you definitely should – I also own this bra and this tank.)

Off the shoulder green top 6

When it’s 90 degrees outside with humidity, it can be hard to find anything to wear that doesn’t feel completely suffocating. So I’ve been turning to off the shoulder tops and denim shorts as my go-to pieces to combat this crazy heat. Add sandals, a hat and sunglasses and you have the perfect summer outfit! xo

Forever 21 Pink Silk Slip 4

Hat | Sunglasses | Vest | Slip | Shoes | Bag

I love silk slip dresses but usually reserve them for wearing at night with heels and a statement necklace, but I wanted to transition this pretty dusty rose dress more into a daytime look so I paired it with suede brown flats and an army green cargo vest to create a causal yet chic ensemble. I think by opting for colors like greens and browns next to the neutral shade of blush really created a pretty palette and perfect for a daytime adventure in the city. What color combos are you loving lately? xo

Forever 21 Yellow Hawaiian Shirt 1

Hat | SunglassesShirt | Shorts | Shoes (gift) | Bag

When I was in Seattle in mid-June, I swung into Forever 21 and snagged this brightly colored cropped button down, which was only $18! I found it hanging on some bottom rack, kind of hidden away, and was immediately drawn to it for it’s cheerful color and fun tropical print. Although I don’t wear it very often, yellow has been my favorite color since I was little, so I found it really fun to integrate it into an outfit.
