It’s finally Friday, and I am one happy girl. I’ve also gone and rounded up the last few days of outfits, each based entirely around the sky-high Steve Madden snakeskin Caryssa heels, to see which look is your favorite. Do tell!

I like each one—although maybe the first one is my favorite—but I think all of the outfits could be tweaked just a tad. So, if I could go back and revise, here’s what I would do:

Outfit #1 Add a a statement necklace or two.

Outfit #2: Tuck in the chambray shirt, add a bunch of layered chunky bracelets and maybe a pair of simple earrings.

Outfit #3: Unzip the sweatshirt and layer my striped trapeze top under the lace shirt for a little extra dimension and flair

I was without Photoshop on my new computer, which posed quite the issue when it came to compiling all these looks in one layout. Hi loves! I’m back to the blogging world! It was so nice to take a few days off but man, I always feel a bit out of it when I come back to the interwebs…I feel like I have missed out on so much! Anyway, last night I went to this very cool art party thrown by Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, Carine Roitfeld’s son, in which he curated and presented Nicolas Pol’s show, The Martus Maw. It was pretty intense work in a very cool warehouse space in the LES. I also had two very cool fashion celeb spottings: Carine herself walked right by me, and Giovanna Battaglia stood a mere seven feet from me, looking beyond fabulous per usual. Yes, I almost passed out, because if you have been reading this blog for a while, you know how much I adore her style.

Anyway, as far as my outfit, I didn’t have too much time beforehand to shoot it, so I had my friend Brie snap a few shots on our way out. You can’t really see under the jacket, but I am wearing my mauve belt and fun ring necklace. To see how I originally wore this dress, click below!

So, last week I wore this outfit to a press event, and then out with friends. I wanted to look chic and put together, so I decided to fancy it up a bit by adding lace tights, a mini skirt, and heels. I think that this might be my favorite version of all.

P.S. I walked by H&M yesterday and saw this geometric print blown out into a larger, more exaggerated pattern, in the version of a strapless mini dress. Mmm…those of you who think I will own this item by the end of the week, say aye!

The best part? Since we first got our idea for our costumes from the American Apparel website, which showcased all these awesome Halloween costumes that people created from AA clothing, we were able to one-stop-shop, since all our clothing (minus Allie’s BF’s pants) came from AA!

Today I was going back through my Flickr photos and came across all my recent detailed shoes shots. So, for fun, I thought I’d throw together a little collage. What you see here above are some of my very favorite pairs. Do you guys have shoes that you find yourself wearing over and over again, or do you rotate between two or three pairs because they just go with everything? What style and brand are they? I would love to know, because you know I am always scouting for new staples to add to the wardrobe!

Since August, I have worn and photographed this striped dress eight different ways. I found it in the Buffalo Exchange in Ballard, for $11, but it’s originally from H&M. Such a great purchase…thanks Mom!

I’ve tucked it in, worn it with tights, and layered it with vests and blazers. I like all the different versions, but I do have my favorite way of wearing it, which is the outfit in the third photo. Now tell me, what’s yours?

After posting my outfit this morning, it dawned on me that I have worn this navy blue wool skirt quite a lot over the past few months, so I decided to do a little round-up post for you all. The story behind this cute, high-waisted skirt, is that my friend Ayn-Monique—who co-writes the awesome design blog, Swatchbook with our friend, Allie—and I did a small swap last spring. I had a necklace that I never wore, that she loved, and in turn she gave me this skirt, which I adore. I can’t tell you how much wear I’ve gotten out of it, including quite a few outfits that I wore a while ago that were never photographed for the blog. Anyway, I’d like to send out a huge thank you to Ayn-Monique for giving me this awesome addition, staple really, to my wardrobe!
