Happy Monday! I’m very excited to be kicking off a very fun and creative collaboration called the Forward Fashion Project, where I will be blogging and styling along with a handful of other awesomely talented bloggers. Basically, it’s like a big remix roundup where we each receive an item to start, style it up however we like, post it, and then pass the item on to the next gal. Fun! Had a little fun remixing this leather dress that I got as a gift from Juicy last year. To keep it simple, I left on the vest and some of the same accessories, such as the necklace, bag and watch, and merely switched up the layering piece (denim shirt vs silky sheath) and lastly the shoes. Out came two very different looks that took minimal effort! I wore the first outfit last week to run some quick errands, then changed into the second look to attend some press events and dinner with Helena. xo

Inspired by a recent post by Karla where she wore a plain white tank and jeans, I became intrigued by the simplicity of this particular piece of clothing, which is often overlooked in an outfit.
