Back in February, on a gray and wet afternoon, I spent a relaxing day with Gucci at The MOMA with Christina and Kim, where we admired art, took lots of photos and hid from the rain. Afterward, we lunched at Via Quadronno and then later headed over to Dream Dry where we got all dolled up before heading to Del Posto for drinks and appetizers. It was such a decadent and fun experience, especially wearing these bright loafers around all day. Thank you Gucci, for making a rainy day a little brighter!

On Tuesday night, I had the extraordinary pleasure to meet the one and only Diane Von Furstenberg. The evening began at the Wonderland Beauty Parlor where we were pampered with blow outs and champagne. Then we walked over to the DVF offices a block up in the Meat Packing District, where we mingled in her beautiful office, sipped more champagne, and waited to see the new collection (or so we thought). I was in the middle of a conversation with Blair when all of a sudden I saw Diane casually walk into her office and say hello. She promptly ushered us to her desk, asked us to all sit down for a chat, and we ended up talking for an hour. The conversation ranged from everything to love to hair to blogging to what it takes to be a strong and independent, successful woman. She then signed copies of her book for us, and afterward we posed on her stairwell for the beautiful photo below. It was truly a night to remember – I walked home pinching myself!
Thank you to the team at DVF for putting this amazing night together. You can see some more of the photos we took throughout the evening, by clicking here! xo

life according to instagram While I’ve been at home, I’ve been revving up my presence on instagram and having a blast doing so. Here are a a bunch of my favorite fashion-centric photos I’ve taken over the last week.

For those of you that have an iPhone, do you use this app? I remember when I had a Blackberry I could never be a part of the instagram fun, but then recently I came across webstagram, which allows you to view instagram photos online instead of just your iPhone. How neat is that! If you’d like, you can follow me here. And for those of you already using the iPhone app, find and follow me at mystylepill. :)
