Exciting news! Come join Kim from Eat.Sleep.Wear and I on December 6th, where we will be hosting a very fun event with Gap and InStyle at the 34th street location in Manhattan. It’s a perfect chance to say hello, (we’d love to see you!), sip on a cocktail, and do some serious Christmas shopping (take 30 percent off your purchase). Plus, one lucky reader will win a chance to be styled by me in a head-to-toe ensemble courtesy of Gap! To enter, leave a comment below – I will be choosing the winner a week from today, so stay tuned! xo

I am beyond excited to be heading to New Orleans today (at 6:50am no less) to ring in Fashion Week in one of my favorite cities. If you are in town, I will be hosting a fun styling event at the chic boutique, Angelique, from 2-4 this Saturday so come by and say hello! Hope to see there! xo

For those of you that are persuing the web right now, hop on over to the Threadflip New York Fashion Week flash sale. It ends at midnight EST so I highly recommend you take a peek. I have my eye on a few items so check it out before every sells out! Plus, it’s for a good cause – 100% of the proceeds benefit the Rescue Paw Foundation – what’s better than that?!

Now that Fashion Week is officially over, I thought I would bring you back to a week ago and share how I kicked off this celebratory and stylish week. I hosted Fashion’s Night Out at Joe Fresh last Thursday and had such a blast. I got to pick out my favorite pieces, meet Joe himself, and run around instagraming anything my heart desired. Some of my close friends showed up as well, which always makes things even better. All in all, a great time. Until next season! xo

On Tuesday night, I had the extraordinary pleasure to meet the one and only Diane Von Furstenberg. The evening began at the Wonderland Beauty Parlor where we were pampered with blow outs and champagne. Then we walked over to the DVF offices a block up in the Meat Packing District, where we mingled in her beautiful office, sipped more champagne, and waited to see the new collection (or so we thought). I was in the middle of a conversation with Blair when all of a sudden I saw Diane casually walk into her office and say hello. She promptly ushered us to her desk, asked us to all sit down for a chat, and we ended up talking for an hour. The conversation ranged from everything to love to hair to blogging to what it takes to be a strong and independent, successful woman. She then signed copies of her book for us, and afterward we posed on her stairwell for the beautiful photo below. It was truly a night to remember – I walked home pinching myself!
Thank you to the team at DVF for putting this amazing night together. You can see some more of the photos we took throughout the evening, by clicking here! xo

Last week I had the great opportunity to be a part of UGG Australia’s unveiling of their new fall shoe line. I was even lucky  enough to style an outfit around a specific pair of boots and have it showcased during the event. The space was absolutely amazing and it was so fun to see how some of the other stylists, including Helena, styled their looks. Each was very true to the girl and it was fun to see the ensembles come to life on the models. We even had little style stories to go along with our looks. Here are a few photos from the event, if you’d like to see!

My look!

My NYC style story. :)

Hope you have a great rest of your week! xo

Here are just a few fun photos of what I wore to the event I hosted for Echo last week. This little sheath is actually meant to be a swimsuit coverup, but was easily transformed into a flowy dress, simply by adding a silky slip underneath and some gold accessories. KeikoLindsey and I spent the night playing with all the colorful scarves, chatting with customers and even got to indulge in some nail art. All in all, it was a great night, and thanks to those that we were able to make it out – we loved seeing you! xo
