Last March, I started my transition to becoming a blonde, and ever since I’ve been picking up tips on how to take care of my lighter locks. The last time I was this blonde, I was in college and I definitely didn’t take very good care of my hair, but now that I have the resources as well as great experts at my fingertips, I’ve made a pact with myself to actually do it right this time around. So with that said, I wanted to share a few summer hair care tips that I picked up from Elaine, the Senior Creative Director at the Sassoon Salon in New York!

I’m so excited to finally be able to announce my partnership with Sassoon as a Sassoon Style Influencer! I’ve been working with the brand for the past couple months now and have been in and out of the salon working working with the Color Director, Valencia to create the perfect shade of blonde and the Senior Creative Director, Elaine, to shape and cut my hair to just the right length.

Last month, my sweet friend Krystal came into the salon with me one afternoon and we selected hairstyles off of their Blow & Style menu. The team then created a fun video of our time there and some fun behind the scenes to show you how it’s done. I hope you guys enjoy!
