Right before I left for Seattle, I collaborated with Gilt Groupe and Glitter Guide to do a really fun remix feature with some of my favorite blogger gals, Helena, Kim, Natalie, and Caroline. The goal at hand was to create an outfit around this Catherine Malandrino sequin skirt by using our own style and flair. (You can even shop the skirt on Gilt via their FB page.) Last week I posted my first video that I did with the classic and timeless watch brand, Timex on their Timex Weekender campaign. For those of you just joining, a quick back story: we created two videos (the first segment cam be seen here) with two different looks about how to bring a touch of your weekend style to your everyday outfits. I worked with a few of my favorite pieces to create some outfits—one slightly dressier, one more casual—based on the watches I wore. The best part is that all the watches are not only affordable, but act as stylish accessories to create that hard to find combination look of casual and sophisticated. Done and done. I am so excited to finally reveal this major collaboration that I did with Hearts On Fire Diamonds which started this summer and will continue on throughout the rest of the year, running in Hearst publications, such as Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Esquire and Marie Claire! I’m pretty over the moon about it all, so you can imagine my reaction when I finally saw the ad in the October issue of Cosmopolitan.

The whole campaign is focused around diamonds, obviously, but at the heart of it all, the idea is to show and explain how to wear diamonds in an everyday, non-fussy way. In each spread, I will be offering tips and suggestions on how to wear different pieces as well as dishing out advice in Esquire to men who are diamond shopping for that special someone.

To be honest, I, like a lot of people, always thought diamonds were only to be worn when dressing up. But, my view quickly changed once I had a whole day to play around with and style up some lovely sparkly pieces. I got to wear everything from this beautiful triple stacked ring (see it on the lefthand side of the ad above, which I am obsessed with and you will also see incorporated into my daily looks very soon) to really dainty, delicate diamond necklaces that looked amazing when layered on top of one another.

Basically, I feel so much more inspired and comfortable incorporating simple and feminine diamond jewelry into my everyday wardrobe, which with fashion week now soon segueing into upcoming holiday parties starting this fall and winter, I know that my favorite diamond pieces are going to be just the thing to glam up any outfit, whether it’s drinks with friends or a fancier work event. As I have come to find, they really can be paired with anything since diamonds continue to be effortlessly timeless and classic, especially when styled the right way.

Although the September issue of Lucky has been out on stands for a while now, I thought it would be appropriate to kick off the first of this (fashion heavy) month by sharing these photos from a shoot I did with Lucky and White House | Black Market earlier this summer. It has been a dream of mine to work with Lucky on a project and so when they approached me about collaborating with this great clothing brand, I was over the moon. A couple of weeks ago, Arielle of Something Navy and I partnered with Refinery29 and PINK for a fun photo shoot showcasing PINK by Victoria’s Secret’s cute and casual clothing line. I paired their comfy tees and bras with a few of my own duds and created some very colorful and fun outfits. We hit the streets and took some great photos on the High Line and throughout the Meat Packing District and West Village. A little while I ago I was approached by the very cool brand, Apart, to style and be in a photo shoot for their “It Girl” campaign, wearing some of my favorite pieces from the line.
