Matrix Biolage Aqua Gel Conditioner

(This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Matrix. All opinions are 100% mine.)

Whenever I go into a salon to get my hair done, the stylist always comments on the fact that I have fine hair but a ton of it, which can be great because with the right product they can create a ton of volume and I can keep my hair styled without it falling flat in five minutes. But like I said, it all depends what product I use. The problem usually begins with my shampoo and conditioner, since anything too heavy immediately takes the “umph” out of my hair…

I often have a love-hate relationship with my conditioner because I love the soft, silky feeling of freshly conditioned hair, but once I’m out of the shower and drying it, sometimes my hair all of sudden looks flat and feels greasy and weighed down. But that all changed after I was on shoot with Matrix and was introduced to their Biolage VolumeBoom Shampoo and their new Biolage VolumeBoom Aqua-Gel Conditioners. The formulation of this product offer the conditioning and hydration with a feeling of weightlessness, allowing fine hair to feel fresh and conditioned with a no-product feel after the fact.

There are four different types of conditioner: Biolage HydraSource Aqua-Gel is designed for dry hair, Biolage SmoothProof Aqua-Gel is designed for frizzy, unruly hair, Biolage ColorLast Aqua-Gel is designed for color or chemically-treated hair, and Biolage VolumeBoom Aque-Gel is designed for hair that needs maximum volume.

Here are a couple photos from the shoot!
