Our lovely trip came to an end last Sunday, but we were graced with a beautiful sunset Saturday before we left. The light was really this orange and it was absolutely beautiful. Luckily for me, my top matched the ambience perfectly!
I am off to Austin today (never been before!) and would love to hear any suggestions you might have, so feel free to share in the comments! Have a great weekend! xo

Love this look. The colors worked out perfectly with the sunset. You will love Austin. It’s a great city. If you get a craving for a late night snack you should go to Gordo’s Doughnuts. It’s a food trailer and they make basically any kind of delicious doughnut you would ever want. They’re open late too. Hope you have fun!

You are going to love Austin! Go to Barton Springs for a great, cool swim. Sunday Brunch is AMAZING at Moonshine on 3rd Street, and the Gourdough’s recommendation is spot on.
PS This outfit is fantastic :)

Is your hat the natural or the white color?
I live in Austin and love it!! Here is a list of my suggestions. Have so much fun!!
Fancy BBQ: Lamberts; Seafood: Perla’s; Mexican: La Condessa (great bar called Malverde upstairs); Amazing Sushi: Uchi or Uchiko (last top chef winner is the main chef here); Cupcakes: Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop ( I like them better than Hey Cupcake); South Congress has some great food trailers and shops (Feathers is a great vintage boutique); 2nd street district has some great shops as well. If you have time, you should try and go to the Salt Lick in Dripping Springs (it’s byob). Ice Cream: Amy’s
Hope this helped!!
Love your site!!

Love how you make an outfit so casual, but classy. You should come to San Antonio it’s not far from Austin.

Gorgeous photos! I will be out there in a few weeks, and then to Austin in the end of September! I can’t wait to see how you spend your time there, and what fun things you get to do!

So jealous you can wear the J. Crew cuff. I bought one because it looked fabulous on you and had to return it after wearing it for eight hours! The gold wore off and turned my skin grey.:(

Love this look– we must both have the colors of sunset on the brain! (http://fairvanitydc.blogspot.com/2012/07/sunrise-sunset.html)
