For me, basics often mean comfort. So, seeing that it was a chilly, wet day, as I got dressed, I went through a basics checklist: Worn-in, flexible jacket? Check. Comfy sweater, cozy scarf and/or soft button down? Check. Stretchy skinny jeans? Check. Trusty riding boots? Check. A genius camera bag that carries all of your photo-taking needs? Definitely check. Final consensus? This was the perfect outfit for a rainy afternoon spent eating cookies and drinking coffee with “A,” and his adorable niece. xo
