Menswear
RayBan Wayfarers / Gap Scarf and Jeans / F21 Necklace / Chaps Sweater (similar version)/ J.Crew “Plaza” Coat / Zara Flats / Coach Willis Bag / Eddie Bauer Gloves (gifted)
I have always loved wearing items that weren’t necessarily designed for women because I see it as a fun styling challenge. For instance, I used to steal my Dad’s argyle sweaters and wear them with baggy jeans in the 90s, and now I snag “A’s” soft gray cardigan from time to time and slip it on over a fitted tee during the weekends.
So a few weeks ago when I was at the Chaps preview admiring this men’s cream shawl sweater and picturing all the different ways I could wear it during the chillier months, the lovely people at Chaps agreed to send one over to me and let me style it up for fun. I opted for a larger size that I normally wear for a slouchier, cozier look.
I love the shawl neck but wanted to give it some feminine charm, so I draped one of my sparkly necklaces around the collar. I can also see wearing it over a long fitted knit dress and knee high boots during the winter or over a denim shirt with shorts, come spring.
This past weekend I went to Philly with “A” to visit Kim and Brian for a fun Halloween/Birthday party (I was a cat and “A” was a werewolf) with Helena, Keiko and Natalie, and I wore it non stop. It was the perfect piece for the unexpected weather we experienced on Saturday (snow in October?!) as well as the train ride home on Sunday. xo
Remix: White Tank, Version 3
RayBan Wayfarers / Kristen Blake Jacket (from my mother – just bought the saddle colored version from J.Crew!) / F21 Tank, Clutch and Skirt, Chain Bracelet, Dolce Vita Wedge Booties (half off at closing sale) /Bangle from Bauble Bar/ Thrifted Necklace / Estee Lauder Nail Polish in Metallic Sage (gift) / Revlon Lipstick in Sable
And there you have it! (Click here to see version one and here for version two.) Three different ways I wore my trusty white tank. How do you wear yours? Casual with jeans and flats, or dressed up with a skirt and heels?
Remix: White Tank, Version 2
Last night, I went to an event for Ranjana Khan who designed a new line of jewelry for The Limited. While I was there, I finally met the lovely Karla in person, who was my inspiration for this little white tank remix. FYI: She is just as lovely in person as she is on the blog, and even more gorgeous. xoxo
RayBan Sunglasses / F21 Necklaces, Tank and Blazer / H&M Jacket / Gap Jeans / Vince Camuto Shoes (gifted) / Dad’s Leather Travel Bag
Citizen Glam
Earlier this month, I went behind the scenes and saw a bit of CitizenGlam’s inaugural campaign, which helps raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in NYC. This time, they teamed up with YouTube makeup artists,Leesha and ItsJudyTime, to support and raise money for the ACS’s Eastern Division Wig Program. I was blown away by the special campaign and took a few photos myself, but I don’t feel like what I captured did any of it justice. Instead I would love for you to check out the video above, and watch even more footage on their site!
You too can join the Rally for Hope Lodge, which started on October 17th. For more information on Citizen Glam Social Media, you can visit the follow sites! xoxo

Remix: White Tank, Version 1
A white ribbed tank top can be such a versatile piece if styled the right way. Inspired by a recent post by Karla where she wore a plain white tank and jeans, I became intrigued by the simplicity of this particular piece of clothing, which is often overlooked in an outfit. So for fun, I decided to create three looks around this classic separate.
RayBan Sunglasses (bday gift from A) / Thrifted Blazer (similar version here) / Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent Vest (half off at a closing sale!) / F21 Tank, and Clutch (isn’t this version adorable?) / Levi Curve ID Jeans (gifted) / Bracelets from Bauble Bar, F21 / Coach Watch (gifted) / Steve Madden Pumps
Fall Styles by Chaps
Before I left for Seattle, I went to a fun event with Keiko, Bobby and my sweet friend Landon. We previewed some of the new pieces such as chunky knits and cute vests and the boys picked out their outfits to be styled later on. Here are a couple shots from the afternoon.
Stay tuned to see how Landon and Bobby put together some stylish fall looks by Chaps!
